(1)Vessel Inn Sakae Station (4
Vessel Inn
Donki
(2)PRINCESS GARDEN HOTEL (4
(3)Ni****etsu Hotel Croom Nagoya (4
(4)Daiwa Roynet Hotel NAGOYA-EKIMAE (3
Cafe
**Six-Day Trip to Nagoya: I Stayed at Four Hotels as Follows**
(1) **Vessel Inn Sakae Station (4 stars)**
- **Price:** $436 per night (Tuesday)
- **Pros:** The staff were friendly and polite, the room facilities were clean, and there was a self-service area for toiletries such as toothbrushes, combs, coffee, and towels. There was a 7-Eleven downstairs, and it's close to Donki.
- **Cons:** The room was a bit small for two people; we could only open one large suitcase and one small suitcase at a time.
(2) **PRINCESS GARDEN HOTEL (4 stars)**
- **Price:** $1,238 for two nights (Wednesday to Thursday)
- **Pros:** There is a bathhouse for relaxation, and nearby restaurants stay open until midnight. There’s a claw machine arcade, and the hotel parking is flexible without a fixed 11:00 AM checkout time. The surrounding area is suitable for travelers, with many trendy shops nearby.
- **Cons:** The male staff at the front desk seemed unwelcoming, with a serious expression and no smile. When I inquired about tourist spots, he simply said, "I can’t help." Although the hotel has been renovated, it still feels somewhat old; the bathhouse is cleaner than the room, and there were hair remnants in the room.
(3) **Ni****etsu Hotel Croom Nagoya (4 stars)**
- **Price:** $709 per night (Saturday)
- **Pros:** The staff were friendly and polite, the room could accommodate two large suitcases, and the facilities were relatively new. The large bathhouse had both indoor and outdoor options, and there was a 7-Eleven downstairs.
- **Cons:** If I were staying with a small group of two people, the only available room was a smoking room, which made me hesitant to stay longer. Once we opened our suitcases to take things out, we had to close them immediately due to the smoke smell. The location is similar to Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong, with many attractive young women and young men on the street trying to entice people to drink. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for solo female travelers; although the facilities are attractive, the surrounding environment is not suitable for tourists.
(4) **Daiwa Roynet Hotel NAGOYA-EKIMAE (3 stars)**
- **Price:** $1,278 for two nights (Sunday to Monday)
- **Pros:** There was a self-service area for toiletries, including toothbrushes, combs, coffee, and towels. We could easily open two suitcases. The room had charging cables and was clean.
- **Cons:** Although it’s close to Nagoya Station, the area is commercial and quite dull. The nearby restaurants cater mainly to office workers and are not suitable for tourists. Most shops close by 7 PM, and if you want to visit trendy shops, you’ll need to walk for over ten minutes to find a few famous cafes.
**Overall, I would recommend that anyone visiting Nagoya consider staying from Sunday to Friday. The hotel prices on Saturday are excessively high and not worth it. Additionally, staying near Nagoya Station can feel too commercialized.
