If you're flying out of Narita early in the morning or just landed after a long-haul flight, Art Hotel Narita offers exactly what you need: space, convenience, and peace of mind.
The hotel isn’t modern or fancy—expect slightly dated interiors, from the lobby to the elevator—but surprisingly, the room is huge by Japanese standards. I could open two large suitcases on the floor and still have space to walk around. For a transit hotel, that’s a win.
🚗 Getting There
From Narita Airport: Free hotel shuttle bus (available from both Terminal 1 & 2). Runs on schedule, just check the timetable and reserve a seat at the front desk or via email.
From Narita Station: Around 15–20 minutes by taxi or shuttle.
🛒 What Makes It Convenient
There’s a convenience store directly connected to the lobby (I forgot if it was Lawson or FamilyMart, but it’s one of the big ones). Super useful for grabbing drinks, snacks, or even a quick dinner if you arrive late.
🛏️ Facilities & Vibe
Room: Old but clean, with classic Japanese hotel vibes
Spacious layout — comfy for families or travelers with lots of luggage
Free Wi-Fi and TV (mostly Japanese channels)
Public bath (sento-style) available on certain floors
Restaurant available for breakfast (buffet, mostly Japanese/Western mix)
🗺️ Nearby Attractions (if you have time)
If you’re not in a rush, take a short trip to:
Naritasan Shinshoji Temple – 10–15 min by car or bus
A beautiful, peaceful temple complex with a large park. Great for a quick cultural stop before your flight.
AEON Mall Narita – 10 min by shuttle/taxi
For last-minute shopping or a proper meal (they have restaurants, Uniqlo, and souvenirs too).
✨ Final Thoughts
Not the newest or trendiest hotel, but Art Hotel Narita does its job well—spacious room, connected konbini, and smooth airport access. For a one-night stay before/after your flight, it’s practical, comfortable, and stress-free.
Just don’t expect modern aesthetics—and you’ll leave satisfied.
