Wow, 6 friends, stayed, we split up and we stayed in no 8! Room was fab, double bed and I got the single. En-suite and a kitchen. There was complimentary bread, cereals, apple juice, and milk, coffee and tea. I was so impressed with the value. I will definitely come here again.

Was very cosy inside, and had all we needed for breakfast. Comfy bed, and traffic near the roundabout didn't disturb us at night. Close to the Cathedral, and station. Some of the paint work needed a bit of attention, and did find some cob webs in the kitchenette. 20 minutes walk to the station, and riverside.

The location was good as not too far from city centre. There was parking. We were shown to our room and were told there was tea, coffee and cereals for breakfast as well as bread. We had emailed then a few times informing about my mum being gluten intolerant but they did not reply. When we turned up we told them again and the person said its the manager who deals with requests. Luckily we took some food for breakfast with us. They provided soap for washing up but did not provide washing up sponges and kitchen roll. The beds were not comfortable. The shower was not very clean. They did not clean our room which meant that rubbish was being piled up and no bins to use outside so the room smelt. The staff did not check to see if we were ok. They should have advertised as self catering as we didn't have a good choice of breakfast and bought our own.

So my auntie and uncle came to Norfolk for the first time and stayed here for 3 nights .. The room stank of damp and the room wasn’t cleaned well at all. The flooring was dirty, almost smelt of being wet and damp… The toaster was dirty, kettle was full of lime scale and the smell was unbearable. We were told on arrival that anything that needed to be replenished would be upon request…. We asked and on a number of occasions they asked for tea, coffee, sugar and toilet roll to be replenished and nothing was… they were “Too busy”. The bins weren’t emptied, no phone to call anyone, no where to empty the bins ourselves…. Shocking… The outside area had a little table and one chair? Makes perfect sense right? Only advantage, was location and air con…. Overall, shocking stay, staff couldn’t be bothered to help or clean…. And we ain’t staying here again….

Very clean,nice clean shower, bed wasn't as comfortable as we would of liked. Air conditioning was a bonus. Close to where we needed to be, 15 minutes walk do riverside and 15 minutes walk to Epic studio. Ideal. Shame the pub doesn't open n a Monday.

Wouldn’t stay here again…. Bed had not been changed from last occupant, very dusty headboard and the wall behind the bed was dusty and cobwebs occupied the corners. However nice breakfast selection. Unfortunately that is all I have to say.

We stayed in Room no 1 which was facing a very busy roundabout, once inside we didn't notice the traffic noise. Clean comfortable room with much appreciated air conditioning, TV, small kitchen area and addiquate bathroom, staff very friendly in the bar, would definitely go back as enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I stayed five nights in one of the chalet rooms at 'The Castle' public house. There are 3 such self- contained rooms adjacent to the main pub building. There was a Microwave and refrigerator in the unit, and provisions were included for a continental style breakfast on a 'do it yourself basis. We didn't actually visit the pub during our stay, but the chalet was splendid.

We had a good stay, we were a little apprehensive as the room selected for us fronted onto a busy roundabout, however, the glazed window and door drowned most of the noise out. The only issue we came across with that particular room was that there was quite an ant problem, the ants were crawling all over the kitchen, the entrance tiles and any food that was out. I would recommend rectifying these before other people staying as its quite off putting and disgusting
