Just had the most incredible six nights at Borneo Eagle Resort, the service was just superb, the staff made our stay amazing, they could not do enough for us whether it was anticipating our needs or remembering exactly what we liked. It is a very remote resort but the benefits of that is that there are not thousands of tourists around and you get true relaxation and Tranquility.  the food is ordered in advance and the chef was really accommodating to changes and menu tweaks, he managed to cook brilliant cuisine from every single continent! The villas were beautiful and the the trips were really good fun thanks to Shafiq. Kenneth at the bar was brilliant and so good with the kids and cocktails!! The Wi-Fi was horrific though so don’t plan on doing any work whilst you’re there, we never had it in the room at any time and only at the restaurant for short periods, Afnan the manager had to take us down the jetty and he let us use his own private phone at one point just to get a signal. They really tried to help whenever we had a problem with anything whether it was the Wi-Fi or the mosquitoes!! The main thing for the kids to do was the trips and playing in the pool which was so huge that they actually went paddle boarding in it every day. I highly recommend this resort if you want to be in a beautiful environment with incredible staff and fantastic food and get away from the crowds!!

房間怒大，感覺像忽然變成有錢人，太大了，難以想象，整個酒店就我們一家人，所有客服人員大概20幾個都圍繞我們轉，服務不錯， 餐廳會根據客人需求做各種吃的，甜品也是很棒，就是稍微有點孤獨！

酒店祇有少量別墅，沒有客房，所以整個渡假村內沒有很多人。我一家住泳池別墅，泳池再行出一點就是海邊。坐在屋外的沙灘床上望着海景，非常舒適。酒店包三餐，但相當有質量，及每天晚餐都有不同。酒店種有椰子樹，我們每天都免費打包新鮮椰子汁回房喝，基本上當水喝了。酒店在迪加島邊，但我的電話沒有收到訊號，可能是電話卡台問題，所以上網祇能靠酒店WiFi. 但別墅是沒有Wifi訊號的，祗有大堂，餐廳，泳池吧能提供，基本上可以脫離煩囂，安心渡假。
酒店接駁船所在的碼頭距離亞庇市比較遠，我們一家包車坐了大概兩小時。中間有一段道路還在修建，路况比較差。接駁船泊任在自然保護區巡邏隊的碼頭內，到達後跟酒店經理溝通可早點派船接送。

풀빌라에 대한 리뷰가 드물어 걱정반으로 시작
가는 배편의 위치가 정확하게 안내되지 않아 힘듦
도착한 숙소는 친절한 직원들 덕에 마음편히 휴양을 할 수 있었음
넓은 객실과 프라이빗한 가든이 좋았고,
섬이라 일출과 일몰을 둘 다 감상할 수 있음.
식사는 끼니마다 충분한 양으로 제공되고, 알콜을 제외한 모든 음료는 리필이 가능.
비용을 고려한다면 더 나은 선택지도 있을 수 있겠지만 코타키나발루 에서는 가장 프라이빗한 풀빌라임.

We stayed at Borneo Eagle Resort for six nights at the end of a wildlife holiday in Borneo. It is the most amazing place! Luxury villas, excellent service, and the most amazing team of staff who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. We enjoyed sea kayaking, archery, a trek to the small mud volcano, and snorkelling, all of which were included. I also had a wonderful relaxing massage. The view at sunrise from the pool villas is fabulous. The food is excellent and so are the fresh coconuts! If you're looking for a peaceful resort with fantastic service, I definitely recommend Borneo Eagle. We didn't want to leave!

Leider gibt es nachts Ratten im Bungalow, die durch eine Nische bei der Schiebetür reinkommen. Selbst Lebendfallen haben nichts geholfen - in der „besten“ Nacht waren 7 Ratten drin. Die Ratten laufen auch im Restaurant herum. Auch gibt es Erosionen, die bestimmt schon länger hätten behoben werden können, wenn man gewollt hätte. Der Strand voll mit Treibgut. Der Pool nur halb voll mit Salzwasser gefüllt. Die Shampoo (etc.) - Flaschen sind aus Glas (!) und wenn eine zerbricht, muß man 52€ dafür erstatten - eine Unverschämtheit. +++ Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend :-) :-) :-) Die Pool-Villa sehr groß, das Bett sehr komfortabel. Der Ausblick toll, der Pool wieder mit Salzwasser. Essen lecker. +++ Sind einen Tag früher als geplant abgereist wegen der Ratten, Management hat sich nicht gerührt auf unsere E-Mail hin - extremst unangebracht bei so einem teuren Resort. Überhaupt ist die Kommunikation stockend. Insgesamt enttäuscht, vor allem wie das Management seine Gäste behandelt!!

Das Resort ist sehr schön gelegen und großzügig angelegt. Es gibt 14 Villen, wir hatten eine Cral Villa gemietet. Die Villa war auf den ersten Blick wunderbar, sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Alle wesentlichen Ausstattungsmermale waren vorhanden (AC, Kühlschrank, 2 TV etc.). Erster Eindruck - toll. Es besteht ein vielfältiges Freizeitangebot, ein sehr großer Pool, Gym etc. Viele Angebote sind jedoch kostenpflichtig. Das Restaurant ist schlicht, aber stilvoll eingerichtet; die Lounge eher fade. Das Essen ist recht gut, aufgrund der gegebenen Situation individuell (s. u.). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Aber: - das Resort ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, vieles ist deutlich renovierungsbedürftig. Beispiel: die kleinen Fliesen des Pools sind dutzendfach herausgefallen, liegen zum Teil auf dem Beckengrund. In der Villa deutlicher Schimmel- und Rostbefall usw. (s. Bilder). Offenbar ist das erkannt, an vielen Stellen waren Renovierungsarbeiten in Gange. Größtes Problem war das Housekeeping. Die Toiletten wurden in Dreieinhalb Tagen nicht einmal gereinigt! Gleiches gilt für die Armaturen im Badezimmer. In der Gästetoilette gab es weder Seife noch Handtuch. Das nur beispielhaft für die Defizite. Da gibt es viel zu tun.
