Like everything this year on Patong the furniture is old, broken, walls not painted and in mold, but there is ko bad smell, the location is okay. The guy at the reception is very helpful and cool. Don't chose the room that faces the inner wall, it's better that one with the balcony to the main street. Also the water pressure in shower is very poor, very hard to take a shower. Rooms were not cleaned all my stay. Few times they came at 6p.m!!!! And ask if I need my room to be cleaned. Really? 6p.m? So if you don't mind your room would not be cleaned and you don't need the elevator, Gemma is an okay option for what you pay

The location is nice, close to Patong Beach. The management was helpful with everything. The rooms were fairly clean and the beds were comfortable. Recommended for budget stays!

Hotel prices in peak season can get quite pricey sometimes. Booked here for 2 days here for only $19 USD per night. Located in the south of Patong. About a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Beach, Jungceylon Mall, and Bangla Road. However, it was very close to OTOP and a few other day/night markets. Good sized room had a table and a chair and a small balcony. Cons AC worked poorly and made lots of noise. But for the super low price I can overlook things like that!

The Owener is nice. There were lots of food, Drug store and little bars within a five minute walk. But Access from the airport is not good. You have to walk more than 10 minutes from the nearest PEA Patong bus stop to the hotel. Also, there is no elevator.The owner will help you carry your luggage.
