The resort has nice amenities and for a resort that has been open for 20 years, well maintained. Rain, Apple, the restaurant manager are just a few of the exceptional staff. They even have a placard that says that “our comfort is their priority… call to request a different pillow… etc.” However, if you care about service consistency, there is a lot to be desired for your hard earned time and money. Poohpae, the Guest Service Agent, was the first to greet us and immediately gave me the feeling that she worked here for more than 5 years (in a bad way). She didn’t address us with any smile or any warmth. We bought a 4 day Wellness Package and it is somewhat confusing what and when things occur and also what things should be pre-booked etc. she was completely unhelpful when it came to answering those questions. Luckily for her Apple was there to save the day. This alone does not constitute a bad review, only just what happened tonight did. I called the front desk in the evening to request for a different pillow. I request a latex pillow if they had any. Poohpae asks me if I want a long pillow. I said latex. She says only long or the same pillow. I said are you sure? She tells me that they only have the same pillow. So now I’m thinking.. did I read the placard incorrectly? So I take her word for it and tell her no thanks. Only then I walk up to the placard and I read “different pillow”. So I call her back and tell her there are other pillows. She then tells me that she can’t give me other pillows because housekeeping is off work and she cannot enter the room to get the pillows.,I’m not even going to continue all her excuses and inappropriate behaviour in this review. Just know that there was enough for me to write one. Still got one night to go. I’ll keep updating to let you all know how they handle things from here on out.
