It was my birthday trip, together with my fiancé we stayed at the hotel for 10 days. The room was nice from the balcony we had a view of the pool and the sea (room 321). Unfortunately for half of our stay the light in the bathroom did not always work despite being reported to the reception it was not fixed. Very friendly service at the bar especially Georgia, Ladyslaw and Petros who served us delicious drinks. The food was also very good a lot of different options and every day dishes from different countries were served. Chef Andrea prepared a birthday cake for me which was really very good also on the last day he surprised us with a fantastic apple pie and cheesecake. Things to improve in the hotel are definitely the service of a group of young waiters whose behavior during dinner or breakfast is really unpleasant and unprofessional. Also our room was not cleaned thoroughly which was also reported by us twice. Overall I can rate the stay in this hotel as good, the location is also really convenient it is close to the beach and to the shops around.

Room was ok but bathroom flooded when you showered, sink also leaked all round the back of tap. Food had a limited choice and was very repetitive. All inclusive did not include cans of drink, just post mix rubbish, Prosecco was not on all inclusive and neither was cider. We arrived at 3 in the morning and they gave us a sandwich which the bread was so hard you could have broken your teeth on it, could not get a drink. Entertainment was worse than a karaoke at my local pub. Our pick up time was 22.50 but we had to leave our room at midday, there is nowhere safe to keep your cases so we wasted 12 hours sitting with out cases, customer care was rubbish and they were not accommodating at all, will NEVER return to that hotel, avoid it big time, it’s rubbish, the bar staff and waiting staff work really hard and are good fun but we had dirty sheets twice in our room. There is one set of hotels located by the restaurants, none anywhere else which were often out of soap for long periods of time.

What a lovely hotel! We will definitely be returning. We stayed at the Odessa for one week arriving on 10th May. We were 2 couples travelling together. The reception team made our check in swift and seamless. The hotel room was clean and of a good size with plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Top marks Odessa! Breakfast every day was very good with plenty of choice for everyone from cereals to fruit to yogurt to hot food including eggs that were freshly cooked for you. Lunch was varied with plenty of choice and lovely fresh crisp salad which is a favourite of mine when on holiday. During lunch it was waiter service for drinks which is much better than the usual get your own at other hotels. Pool towels were changed every three days which is a good touch to save wasting water. Bar service was good with friendly staff and plenty of drinks to choose from. The main restaurant where you had your evening meal was outstanding. The food quality definitely sets the Odessa apart from other 4 star hotels we have stayed in. It was a nice touch to have quality table linen and waiter service for drinks in the evening. You can book some restaurants which are off site as part of the all inclusive package. We had lunch in the beach bar which was outstanding! We also dined in the Mexican and Mediterranean restaurants which were lovely too. There is only one negative that I can say about our stay which is that we dined one evening offsite in the georgias taverna and what a shocking experience it was. The staff were rude, unhelpful and made us feel like they didn’t want us there. We were told to sit down and we were only allowed the meze as it was part of our all inclusive. We could only have wine or beer to drink. If I drank a bottle of vinegar it would have tasted better than the wine that was ‘plonked’ in front of us. The food wasn’t great either. We weren’t given any spoons to serve our food with and when we asked for them the waiter made us feel like we were an inconvenience in asking him anything at all. I really feel the Odessa should take this restaurant off of their list as it brings the hotel name down. It was the talk of the pool how bad that restaurant was. That aside this is such a lovely hotel we definitely recommend it and will return and stay longer next time.

I had a very good time at Odessa Beach hotel. The staff was very nice and took really good care of me and the food was very good. The feta cheese they have is amazing. Its worth a stay here and the protaras beach is just outside. I recommend this hotel and i have lived in diffrent hotels in the area but this hotel stood out. Chris who works at Odessa made my trip amazing with his service and recomandtion to do outside the hotel.

Visited the restaurant of the hotel for dinner. Food was really nice, lots of options to choose from and had a variety of everything. Desserts were amazing and everything was freshly made. Staff were also really attentive and overall had a pleasant experience!!

Everything was amazing. A hotel in heart of Protaras center.I was there for 1 week with my family and I am happy that I choose that hotel. Excellent service especially at the restaurant big thanks to Mr Michalis restaurant manager. Delicious food and friendly staff. I recommend it 100%

Been to Protaras a few times over the years but never stayed at Odessa. The service was brilliant from the receptionists to the waiters and chefs and nothing was too much hassle. All communal areas hotel were clean and the bedrooms were as well with comfortable beds and everything you could need in your room. I will give a special 5* shout to one of the head waiter David. He was an absolute legend from the first day we met him and he made our stay that bit more enjoyable. Unfortunately for him I got the height but he got the looks (see photo)

Very good location, just 3 mins walk to the beach! Excellent food, huge buffet with great variety! Yesterday there was Italian night, pasta was amazing and nice pizzas. There is a chef cooking on the grill which was great! Service was exceptional, everyone was very polite and helpful! 10/10 stay, will visit again!

We have recently return home from a 10 day break at Odessa Beach Hotel. We have been there 16 times and always welcomed back. Thank you to all the staff who have made our small break so enjoyable. Our thanks to Miss Koulla, David and Chris a new manager. The food is lovely, there is enough choice so if there is something you are not keen on, there are other options. The room was really comfortable. All in all, it was a lovely break, thank you.

Very nice hotel at a perfect location in Protaras. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The food was delicious and in a big variety. We booked the all inclusive package which is an affordable choice and I totally recommend it.

We spent a wonderful weekend at the hotel and were absolutely delighted, especially with the food experience. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who was incredibly helpful and cheerful. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and made with great care. You can really taste the love and attention in every dish. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

Location is good although can be noisy from other hotel behind and also if lower room is near the restaurant/pool as the morning cleaners shout to each other and drag the chairs around early before breakfast. Rooms could do with with some updating in areas.Bed linen was supposed to be changed every other day but was only changed twice in 10 day stay. Towels were hit and miss and you couldn't always change beach towel as waiting for laundry and was told come back tomorrow. Points above were raised with management and reception who were helpful to resolve issues where they could. Food was hot and nice with lots of choice. Lots of cocktail choice and pool bar evening barmen was brilliant looking after all tge guests . Staff friendly and the manager was always happy to speak with guests. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from and we didn't have do the morning dash to get them either. Entertainment was poor at night so we went out. Day entertainment was enhusiatic and good and they didn't pester people. On the whole a good holiday but wouldn't say 4 star in some areas . We have stayed in better hotels.

Odessa is a fantastic good size hotel which is very close to the beach. They have the best staff in Cyprus. There is the best and creative chef Andreas Yianni and all the waiters are skilled, sweet and super attentive I would like to highlight Michalis Elia he is super professional sweet with great knowledge. You can feel everyone is happy at the workplace and that is wonderful and important. So many thanks for that to the hotel director Yiannos Michaelides.

The staff were absolutely amazing. All very polite and friendly, they couldn’t do enough, very attentive. Room was good could do with a bit of TLC but cleaned daily and tea/coffee facilities in room which were topped up daily. My hubbys only little moan was the bed was not very comfortable. Balcony overlooked the pool and slight sea view to the left between hotels. Beach 3 minute walk. Main ***** 5 minute walk where you will find plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants, plenty for everyone. McDonald’s and Costa stones throw away. We hired a buggy from hire place just outside the hotel which meant we could go and explore but there are buses available 3 minute walk to bus stop. Ayia Napa 15 minutes drive, lots to go and see, caves etc. Water sports available at the beach along with boat trips. Visited Famagusta, the lost town, booked trip with Mr John, highly recommend this. Mr John can be found every night in his minibus on the *****. You get picked up at designated spots. The food was fantastic, plenty of choice for all three meals. Themed nights but also other food available. Drinks orders taken once you’re seated and waiting staff fantastic. Head chef very friendly and I would highly recommend his hot chocolate pudding. Great pool area with plenty of sun loungers and great touch, they provide beach towels. I could not fault this hotel at all and I will be returning. I highly recommend it, the staff make it what it is.
