Insotel Punta Prima Resort

Fantastic stay at this hotel, accommodation was great, food was lovely and freshly made. Italian restaurant could be better and a bit underwhelming compared to restaurant. Animation team were the highlight of the holiday! One point that made us laugh was asking for a white wine at evening meal and getting the whole bottle instead of a glass! Excellent stay, we will definitely come back for another holiday!

Good points: This resort is a lovely resort, it’s has 3 pools and 2 baby pools which are seperate. Bottled beer and soft drinks, promptly served in the restaurants. Shop on sight, lots of places to eat. Loads of sunbeds By the beach Bad points: Not great entertainment, not sure if it was the time of year that we went but was very poor. They did a show every night which was okay but for a 5 star hotel I thought it was bog standard. The food was awful!!! It gave both me and my partner sickness and 💩💩 and spoke to other families and it did the same to them. Not much to do for kids unless they go into the kids club. Pools are freezing, even baby pools. Rooms are very dated and adjoin to the next room so you can hear everything. Also people above who you can hear.

Hotel bonito y muy amplio, muy buenas instalaciones, la comida no está la altura de las estrellas, mantenimiento de habitación malo, tiene cosas muy positivas como el gran espacio que tiene muy buenas piscinas, pero, para ser un cinco estrellas, la comida similar a la de cualquier tres estrellas

Ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel bzw. die Anlage. Super Essen. Es war nur kurzer 4 tätiger Aufenthalt. Ich sage Dankeschön! Die Anreise war problemlos. Die Strandnähe war mir sehr wichtig. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Die Reisetabletten haben sich gelohnt.

I came back to Insotel Punta Prima for the 7th time in October and have booked again for this October. For us, it is the most relaxing holiday resort we have ever been to, and although we have been to other places, we keep coming back to this one. Everything is so clean and grounds are well cared for. The staff are amazing, and I would like to echo what others have said about the animation team and the waiters in the dining area. We found them to be so kind friendly and cheerful. There were a couple of staff that really stood out, but unfortunately I did not get their names. I wish I could remember as I would especially like to mention them but I would hope to see them all again this year! The food is very good for all inclusive. Sometimes the dining room was a bit too busy, but I believe it was an extremely busy week that we stayed so it was to be expected. We love the fact that you can walk to the beach in a few minutes, and it is a beautiful view from everywhere in the resort. Room was cleaned every day, and the maid service excellent. I would highly recommend the resort for anybody. I have a slight disability which does make the steep hill a slight challenge, but I always managed it and felt it was worth the effort to get to the top of the hill just for the views. The only slight niggle we had this year as some others have said, is that the pool at the top of the hill was originally (I think) an adult area, and I did feel that there were so many areas aimed at children, that it would have been nice to have a place where couples and older families can have some quiet time by the pool. All in all though, cannot wait to come back later this year.

We have visited this hotel on various occasions as we live on the island of Menorca. In previous visits, we have had very pleasant stays. Unfortunately, this time we had a rather unpleasant experience and a very negative interaction with Josef, one of the hotel "managers." Josef would most certainly benefit from attending customer service training and should not be in the role of hotel manager. He has very poor communication skills and is rude, unsympathetic and abrupt. I should highlight the positive aspects: 1. Splash pool is great for families (water slides a great addition) 2. Food is varied and tasty (could do with being warmer at times but this is expected in a hotel if this size) 3. Staff are very friendly on the whole (bar reception/management staff) 4. Pools clean and well maintained 5. Kids club is great 6. Drinks are of a good quality (some branded drinks available.) The negative experience we had was as follows: We booked for 2 adults and 2 children. Upon previous stays, the 2 sofa beds are made into 2 beds for the children. When we arrived in our room (afternoon,) we noticed that only one sofa/bed had been made. We rang reception immediately and they assured us that someone would come to male the other bed. We got ready for dinner and the watched some of the evening entertainment. When we returned to our room, the second bed had not been made. Our children were tired. I rang reception again but nobody answered on 3 occasions. There was no surplus bedding available in the room for us to make the bed ourselves. And a 5 minute walk from reception (large resort.) We got very little sleep as our wriggly 7 year old shared the bed with us. This is where the issue became a serious problem for us. We approached reception staff and informed them of our complaint. We were told to return 3 hours later. Goodness knows why. We returned 3 hours later and again, told to return an hour later. I asked for a manager, to which I was told there wasn't one available. I was now very frustrated and losing patience. We had spent a lot of our holiday time over a simple matter that the hotel staff failed to get correct, then failed to rectify. And now failing to act on. Eventually, a man named Josef appeared with a rather arrogant and confident walk. He approached us and just stood and looked at us, after having flirted with one of the female staff. I'm english but as I live here in Menorca, understood exactly what he said, much to his surprise. When I explained the situation for now the fourth time, he simply said, we can only apologise, and stood blankly looking at us. No effort to rectify, give us something as an apology. Basically, sorry and off you go. I find this response very rude and disappointing after having visited this hotel on many occasions. Not one member of staff showed any sympathy or appeared genuine in their apology. The customer service we received was appalling.
