Gennadi Grand Resort

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit unglaublich nettem Hotelpersonal. Preis/Leistung passte. Leider war der Strandabschnitt zum Zeitpunkt unserer Reise (Vorsaison) nicht sehr ansprechend. Ansonsten würden wir dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

The most stunning resort, extremely peaceful, multiple pools to suit everyone, different restaurants to suit different tastes, nothing was too much to ask, all staff were accommodating, the spa onsite was absolutely amazing, beautiful venue and the staff were so lovely, would highly recommend having a spa day

When we first arrived they told us that as the season had just started they had upgraded us to a room with a private pool. It was about a five/six minute walk (no problem there). The room was great. Had a separate toilet, a separate shower and a small sink next to the bedroom and in the same area it had a large open plan closet with drawers, a safe and same mini fridge. And they also had left us a bottle of wine and three plates of nibbles (very welcoming). These a tea and coffee station a couple of large bottles of water also in the room. Room service is fantastic and the lady kept leaving small things on the bed ie rose petals and different shaped towels and blankets ie hearts or butterfly’s and you could either request they come in every day or not by a press of a button. The only thing negative I would say about our stay was the breakfast. Even though they had a massive selection of food. Anything that should have been hot WAS’NT ie bacon, sausages, eggs etc. most times it was either warm or cold. The staff at the hotel (everyone from reception to restaurant from cleaners to gardeners are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, friendly and welcoming. They have a car hire company at the hotel but not very cheap. Quoted us over €400+ (special price apparently???) but just a short walk away in Gennadi town there’s Coral car hire. And they offered us a car for the same amount of time for only €160 including insurance - would definitely recommend them

Excellent - perfect resort. Clean, well managed and polite staff. The room was modern and clean, the swim up pool being a lovely addition. The food is lovely and the evening entertainment was wonderful. We so enjoyed our holiday that we plan to return in 2025. Highly recommend the ultra all inclusive, worth the additional cost.

It is a newly built structure, not yet fully built, which employs staff who are mostly unfriendly and without a shred of humanity. In short, I stayed there for 14 days and for the last day of stay I asked well in advance, expected my bad health conditions, to be able to stay after payment up to 19.00 on the day of departure, as well as provided by the same structure, in the room I occupied or in another, and then go to the airport of Rhodes and return to Italy with a flight organized for that hour by the Agenzia Francorosso. This possibility was however denied to me, despite the availability of many empty rooms, forcing me to wander, even with further damage to my health, until 4.00 am the following day, or for a good 16 hours, when I returned in the home in Italy. All this premised, I wish with all my heart that the owner and who manages this structure can be in the near future, in my same health conditions and be treated in the same way.

We booked this hotel via a touroperator which told us that the hotel was new. We‘ve read some reviews saying the hotel is not ready yet but we did not expect so many issues. The room we booked was supposed to be suite advertised by the touroperator as being 64m2 and on the hotel own webpage featuring a two rooms with a physical separation (door). What we‘ve got was a junior suite with no separation and a third bed for our daughter in our bedroom. Needless to say this was not what we expected and it ruined any activity post our daughter going to sleep. Also the sea view was unfortunately ruined by the lack of a proper garden (we had only a big dry slice of land in front of the shore). The sand was dark and full of pebbles (no castles in the sand possible). All around the hotel there are still open constructing and gardening going on, cables lying around, rooms being furnished with people already inside (we’ve got some curtains), private pools being all cloudy and dirty, etc. The room was very poorly equipped (no storage room), bed and cushions very uncomfortable. The shower was outside the main room but the loo inside??? The only positive things about the hotel was the restaurants (food was generally good), the big pools and the animation. One of the most annoying thing was the constant fire alarm test which were supposed to take two days but took at least 7, and sometimes in the night up to 6 alarm calls. The reception personell was kind but not at all responsive. They received and thanks us for the feedback but didn’t actually do anything about it. The last day I managed to speak to a sales manager of the hotel which also showed very responsive, and promised to reply to our written complaint. I am really looking forward to her reply. In total the hotel has potential and maybe in a couple of years it will really be beautiful but this yer it was really disappointing.
