Aquarium View Hotel

Bar Stop Stopped for a few cocktails at the hotel bar. Typical lacklustre hotel affair. Aperol spritz boring and no real flavor. liquor coffee was pretty much the same. Agh well pleasant seating outide at least. Not a bar to bother with unless you are determined to forego any greek influence.

We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad. De locatie is echt perfect. 50 meter van het strand en op korte loopafstand van Rhodos stad en de oude binnenstad van Rhodos. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was prima en voor ons uitgebreid genoeg. Ja, de niet-superieur kamers waren gedateerd maar dat is dan ook het enige hele kleine minpuntje waar wij ons niet aan gestoord hebben overigens. Wij gaan terug!

Had an excellent short stay at the aquarium view , booked independently asked for a higher floor sea-view room and were given our wishes with a bright modern 6 th floor room with spectacular views we were delighted Tho for anyone who prefers a balcony with evening sun you would be better with a room at the back , stayed bed & breakfast & the breakfasts were very nice and more than adequate for us Great location walk across the road to the large (pebbly) elli beach , lots of nice local bars & restaurants and an enjoyable walk into old or new town I would return again Only downsides to the hotel , was only 1 elevator which could lead to long waits And in our opinion they need to employ more bar staff most especially on evenings with entertainment , we saw 2 great acts while staying , a supremes tribute band who were fantastic, and a good Abba tribute band On both evenings there was only one barman & 1 waiter who both worked heroically but could not cope with the large numbers of people Watching the acts , you just could not get served, we only managed to get 1 drink each on both nights
