Coliseum Studios & Apartments

Would give this 0 stars if I could. Awful place. We left on our own accord due to the dirty conditions of the apartment. An American Greek chunky man named Paul was extremely rude snatching ice creams from young children and had a little sheep named Diane (quite large old lady) who would follow him round and treat people the exact same. Whole place stank of grease and was riddled with bugs. Disgusting. Please avoid.

Lovely place and lots if storage in the room. Only let down was 2 towels, 1 for 3 days and 1 rest if week. Other than that I recommend

When you stay at Coliseum, it's like finding a gem that you thought was lost many decades ago. The charismatic Paul together with his thoroughly able crew of Diane and Rob guide you through a perfect stay at a haven of Pefkos, the like of which got lost and buried under the storm of the Internet, smartphones, laptops, political correctness, wokery, tour groups, soulless hotels, cafés and restaurants, tour groups, QR codes and impatience. The guests, the vast pool, the architecture, the vibe, the location and the general chilled atmosphere will possibly shock. It's all here. The staff do not try to sugarcoat; if you're rude or you've got that superior attitude don't be surprised at the response. It's not a corporate chain with HQ in Zurich or Oslo. In the same way that certain people should be told "If you don't like abortion, don't have one" or "If this book offends you, don't read it" I would put up a sign at Coliseum "If you don't like it here, or dont like us, piss off!". It's all good here. Lovely studios and apartments with all that is needed; food prepared from scratch, excellent music at the pool, guests talking to each other (!!), lots of trees, and of course Paul, the star of the show who will do everything possible to help out, advise, smile, chat and make us glad that this polished gem is here. If you think it's unreasonable to not bring your own food and drink to the pool, you better go elsewhere. Enjoy. Thank you Paul, Diane, Rob. Long may Coliseum reign. ＜3

Absolutely fabulous time here, the pool! Freshwater. We felt very much 'at home'..ate here everyday for brunch/ lunch, Diane the cook was great. Rob, Lisa and Paul all very welcoming and helpful. People stay here year after year and for weeks on end. Rooms have everything you need. Perfect spot for all the bars, restaurants, walking or running..we are coming back.

Stayed at coliseum in August the hotel location is good the rooms are basic but practical the staff and owner are polite and knowledgeable and it's very close to St Thomas's Beach which is the best beach. Only thing that would make it better would to have increased room cleaning, in my experience of the travel industry most people would pay a little bit more in the holiday price to cover this.
