Marathon Hotel - All Inclusive

Séjour agréable dans cet hôtel et service au top merci l’équipe marathon :)

Je ne me suis jamais amusée autant que dans cet hôtel! MAX, l'animateur est exceptionnel! Cet animateur est le seul à gérer l'animation et franchement chapeau! Il est génial, drôle, gentil et grâce à lui nous avons rencontré des vacancier venant du même endroit que nous! Le premier soir j'étais un peu déçue de l'hôtel car je le trouvais fort petit... Mais le soir venant, on à directement ressenti qu'il s'agissait d'un petit hôtel hyper familial ou la bonne humeur règne! Tout le monde rigole avec tout le monde et Max encore une fois est vraiment là pour faire de ce séjour un séjour inoubliable! Le personnel de l'hôtel est hyper serviable, poli et souriant! Le Directeur hyper sympa, on s'y sent comme chez soi! Le plus difficile c'est de devoir repartir! Nous reviendront avec notre petit garçon de 3 ans car l'endroit est idéal pour les enfants! Notre chambre était idéalement situé. Bonne literie, chambre propre. Manque: Un coussin supplémentaire, quelques cintres en plus dans l'armoire et un lit conjugal à la place d'un lit double pour les couples serait plus sympa. La nourriture est variée et excellente mais il faudrait prévoir d'avantage de nourriture typiquement grecque. Attention au lunch pack si vous bénéficiez d'un all-inn! On vous donne 3 biscuits, 1 orange, 1 pomme et 1 petite bouteille d'eau... Un peu léger comme repas de midi 😅

The Marathon Hotel truly lived up to all the previous excellent reviews and my family had ten lovely days there. The Hotel is medium-sized so naturally has a more friendly feel to it and is well appointed. The rooms are comfortable with good sized beds, good bathrooms and all come with a fridge and excellent, easy-to-use air conditioning. The dining room offers good quality food with a good range of meals for all tastes with the most friendly and hardworking Filipino waiting staff: they were truly wonderful! The main pool is lovely and is perfect for non-swimmers as there is no deep end and there are plenty of sunbeds; I would recommend getting down to the pool before 9 am to get the best ones. There is an outside bar next to the pool which is open from 10am to midnight and is great with friendly staff. I would especially like to thank Asterid who listened patiently while I practised my limited Greek and helped me out with my pronunciation: he is hardworking and a real asset to the hotel! There is entertainment every evening and there is pool aerobics in the morning and water polo in the afternoon. The Entertainment guy Max works hard and is very good with the guests. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel and the beach is less than ten minutes walk. It is a stone beach and you can hire two sunbeds either side of a parasol for €15. There are bus stops a few minutes away where you can go to Rhodes Old Town and Lindos. The hotel reception has timetables and can tell you the correct bus stop for both. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and all the guests we spoke to were having a good time too. To the staff and management I would like to say thank you for all your hard work, it really made our holiday!
