Alea Hotel Apartments

We’ve stayed here three times now – it’s the only place for us in Ialysos! Alea is a small, family-run hotel. The people are lovely – very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the beach and there are some great shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are lovely – comfortable and spacious – and they are kept very clean and well-stocked. The balconies are really nice. There are plenty of loungers by the pool - you can choose to be in or out of the sun. The pool itself is lovely and makes a great alternative to going along to the beach. When we come back to Ialysos, it will always be to Alea!

Sauberes Hotel, nah bei Restaurants und der Strand ist in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war geräumig, allerdings ist die Dusche sehr klein. Das Frühstück kann etwas Abwechslung vertragen. Alle sind sehr nett.

We have just returned from the Alea hotel our second year in a row. If you are thinking of booking this hotel do not hesitate they are fantastic. The rooms are very clean plenty of towel and beds always changed. Kettle cooking rings and fridge in the room. Air con worked great. The pool area is clean never a hassle to get a sun bed. Great bar serving snacks and other meals. The breakfast is great for 6 euros. Buffet serving meats cheeses cooked sausages. Bacon eggs, fruit cereal tea coffee. This is a family run hotel Nikky is very helpful and will make you stay perfect. The hotel is right in the centre of the shops restaurants but not noisy at all. Beach 10 mins walk away. Close to a little village with traditional taverns. The airport is 15 mins away 16 euros in a taxi. I booked direct with the hotel and could not complain about one thing. Thank you very much Nikky for making everything perfect. See you next year.

Room was cleaned at least twice (we were only there four nights). Hairdryer in room didn't work but this was addressed as soon as I asked. Close to other tavernas. Room contained everything we needed and bed was comfortable. The shower was small. Tall husband didn't fit underneath the shower rose which was funny but there was also a hand held shower head so no problem. Irons are available on request but not in each room.

I loved my seven day stay at the Alea Hotel. I stayed on a room only basis which was perfect for me as I could try different restaurants each night. The staff were naturally very nice, and it was obvious they cared for their guests and wanted your stay to be perfect. The hotel itself was always spotless and the bed was very comfy. The drinks and snacks in the bar area were reasonably priced and I particularly liked the local beer. Buses to Rhodes Town were a 4 minute walk away and were approx every half an hour. Would I stay here again? It's a yes from me.
