All round convenient and good quality. Good transport links and local restaurants. Lovely spa

Positives: Food - Hotel has great food options for families on all inclusive. There is food available all day except for 30 minutes so plenty of choice and options Location - on the seafront and close to Rhodes Old Town (15 min taxi journey). Private beach available but no snacks/drinks there. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby Activities - entertainment team is good and lots for kids to do. Mini golf was a highlight (charges apply) Room - the 3 bedroom maisonette room was amazing. Fully refurbished and very spacious. Jacuzzi outside on terrace as well. Negatives: Drinks: the all inclusive drinks package had very poor cocktails. Tasteless and basic. Local spirits are terrible. Soft drink machines always tasted like they had not been refilled properly Room: jacuzzi was not cleaned at all or refilled. By the end of the week there was only half the water left. The room we were in (105) had no sun at all on it during the day so pointless having sun bed there. Cleaning quality was poor-rubbish not emptied and basic clean each day Service: main restaurant staff were good but reception and pool bar service was poor. Unfriendly and not accommodating. Booked birthday package for daughter and was told day before that it had not been arranged as it wasn’t paid for on check in despite being part of the booking. Then was told I had to email guest services to ensure it was arranged after paying instead of reception doing it for us. Not 5 star quality service at all Late check out: paid for late check out to 6pm at 80 euros but had to move rooms. Was put into a room which was clearly old and tired and extremely small. For a family of 4 it was a one bedroom shoe cupboard. Although not sleeping there was very uncomfortable to use even for the day. Lifts: 3 of 4 lifts not working so had to wait ages to get into the lift to move rooms with luggage. No offer of help to move the luggage from reception so ended up dragging it ourselves Pools: decent pools but very dirty and bar chairs were chopped and damaged all over. Again, not 5 star quality

Can't recommend this place. Pool closes at 1800 very sharp, facilities are in okay but not nice conditions, foid is okay but far from 5* standard, pool area is heavily crowded, staff is doing their duty but without a smile, gym is a cellar without sufficient ventilation. But the minigolf area is nice. Next time, we'll stay at the hotel of the big international brand, very close to this one. We've been there one year ago and liked the other place much more!

Family of 3 including our 8 year old daughter stayed here for 2 weeks. We flew home August 28th. So, the hotel was built in the 1970’s and has been revamped a number of times. It is beautiful. I don’t think they ever imagined having the hotel at full occupancy though and it reflects around the pools. Peak season there is not enough beds. This didn’t bother me too much as I preferred the beach. We had a sea view junior suite. We received a bottle of wine & a plate of lovely fruits as a welcome gesture. This was appreciated. The balcony and views were wonderful. The room was fine. Not overly luxurious. There was no tv or any storage in the sitting room / second bedroom. No minibar. Bed wasn’t as big I would have liked. Pillows were far too thick (tummy sleeper) however a few days before we checked led out I saw the pillow menu. My mistake. We had issues in the bathroom where the bath was leaking and the shower pole attached to the wall literally fell off. Reception were quick to resolve. Daughter’s bed (pull out couch) was very bumpy and you could feel the springs . Again, reception had housekeeping sort it out pretty quickly. We found the food wonderful. Buffet & A la carts. In fact I might have gained some extra kilos. Never had a bad meal in the 2 weeks there. We rented a car for 3 days and visited Rhodes Old Town, Lindos, Faliraki & Tampaika Beach. All wonderful but made me grateful for our location and the fabulous breeze. We were on an all inclusive basis. The main reason for dropping a star in my review was around the drinks that were offered. I don’t drink alcohol but my husband does. He paid for most of his drinks as the AI quality was very poor. Same for my daughter and I. If we wanted a decent mocktail we paid for it. Never had this at a 5* hotel before. An example at the pool bar I asked for an AI mocktail. It was a carton of peach juice poured into a paper cup with one ice cube. It was warm and horrid. It also took about 15 minutes to get this and the pool bar staff were exhausted & exasperated. Big shout out to Spirios at the lobby bar. Very friendly and kind. The 8th floor is nice too but again AI drinks left a lot to be desired. We paid €80 for a late check out. But we had to move our stuff to another room on another floor. This was a standard Mountain View. The smell was horrendous and the room was tiny. If you’re staying here do not book Mountain View. We booked our flights and accommodation separately. The hotel cost us almost €6K. We had to sort our own transport to the airport after check out. Also a first for a 5*. I don’t think it was worth the money. I think if we’d paid 2k less I would have been happier. We would return just not peak season and probably wouldn’t choose AI again.

Scary and disgusting experience. The hotel is infested scorpions !!! The only response from the receptionist called Vasliki and the other room manager response was that it is and open space thinking it is a safari … NOT ONLY THAT she was slamming her head at the table and shouting and laughing at us …. What a rude horrible experience I don’t understand how it is a 5 stars this can be a tent maximum!

In my opinion this is not a 5 star hotel, it is a basic 4. Aesthetically it is very pleasing … the foyer, the decor, the furniture is beautiful. The family room consisted of 1 double bed and a pull out sofa bed. My 19 year old had a very uncomfortable sleep on the sofa bed and complained of back ache. I enquired at reception about this and they promised to put a mattress on it but this never happened. Also there were no drawers in this room only hanging space for clothes and it is supposed to accommodate 4 persons …. this was totally inadequate. I asked could they provide a chest of drawers as there was space for this in the room but they informed me this was not possible. I had to call maintenance on 2 occasions as the wash hand basin in the bathroom blocked. We were a family of 5 with a double room and a family room. I enquired at reception about booking the specialty restaurants and was told I would not be able to book on the app (because 2 rooms) and that I had to book with guest relations. I went to her desk, I was chastised by her for not booking on the app, I explained that receptionist told me to go book through her. She was extremely curt and rude and is really not an advertisement for ‘guest relations’!!! The food was the usual standard buffet, often it was difficult to order a drink and when they were eventually ordered it took an age to arrive at the table. As for the drinks they were all local … the cocktails were poor and my husband and son did not like the beer. Overall the entertainment was poor … main area was top floor bar, not very exciting. In conclusion I would not book this hotel again.
