Tony was excellent and very helpful! It was a wonderful stay, especially breakfast! Breakfast was a wide variety and yummy! Especially the revolving room with impeccable views! The rooms were clean and the ac was comfortable.

Elena was very good, and nice.
The location of the hotel was perfect for us – right in the heart of downtown, downstair have a lots restaurant and a Aldi supermarket. Getting around was easy.
We particularly appreciated the little touches: The complimentary two toy for kid, the delicious cookies at reception in the afternoon, the fast and reliable free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, the well-equipped gym.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Joanna at the hotel reception, and I cannot praise her enough. From the moment I arrived, Joanna was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. She made the check-in process smooth and efficient, answering all my questions with patience and a genuine smile.
What truly stood out was her attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Whether it was helping with local recommendations, assisting with special requests, or just her friendly attitude every time I passed by the front desk — Joanna truly made me feel valued as a guest.
It’s rare to come across someone who combines efficiency, professionalism, and heartfelt hospitality so effortlessly. She is a real asset to the hotel, and because of her, I would gladly return and recommend this place to others.

What disappointed me about the stay:
1. I booked the “River view” room for that day, but they gave us the room with residential area view (picture below), saying that other “River view” rooms were full and they cannot support with this (???). But they are willing to change me to another type of room that has the river view, which was the landmark view, while I paid and requested for the river view. I’d say this was disappointing, given that I booked the room in advance, not on-site at arrival.
2. When I arrived at the hotel (somewhere after 15:30), my room is still not prepared, I have to go around while they clean it for 30 mins. This was not professional.
3. When I entered the 2nd room, it smelled like a smoking room although it’s a non-smoking room. Even if the previous guest smoked inside, they should have deodorized it. I don’t understand. Anyway, we were too tired to go down and request for another room again so we just accepted it.
Anyway, people on the 50th floor (breakfast and dinner space) was nice and supporting. That was what I can say about this.

Checked in hotel smoothly and fast. Excellent view of Huangpu River from the rwin bed room. Hotel room decoration abit old style but clean. TV is 65" big. Location away from restaurants and malls. Walking distance to MRT Line 14 Huangpu Avenue station.
Breakfast good with many selections at level 50 the 360 rotating restaurant.

Great stay at Novotel Atlantis Shanghai! Amazing view, perfect location, and a delicious breakfast with both traditional and Western options. Clean, comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!

Hotel is located away from the main Bund view so the view from the restaurant will not show the main Bund scenery. However, it is still a beautiful view of Lujiaziu and along Huangpu. We did not have breakfast there but had dinner and was told that the restaurant does not rotate for dinner. We could still walk around to look at the view.
The staff was friendly and our rooms on the 44th floor had nice views.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Shanghai CBD, public transportation, and restaurants. The structure is clean, and efficient, with all the amenities to relax after a busy day, such as a pool and gym. The breakfast is very nice in the revolving restaurant on the 50th floor. All the staff is kind efficient and super professional. Special mention to Ms. Shelly at the recepti5, who let u feel welcomed with her impeccable manners, her professionalism, and her warm smile.
