We were assigned an accessible junior suite though we didn't request an accessible room.. The bathroom was half finished and the wiring was not completed with the switches for the separate toilet and bath located in the doorway. There were signs pasted on the door to the toilet and the door to the shower stating that the hotel offered its apologies for the inconvenience! There was a workman's support pole found under the sinks which had to be removed by the technician when we complained. There was not a single hook, clothes stand, towel rack or rail anywhere in the bathroom, toilet or room. The hotel staff explained that they would send a technician a second time to drill hooks in the bathroom, we didn't bother since we were staying only 2 nights and didn't want the dust. The shower glass in the shower stall could not contain water within the stall and the floor became wet after we showered.
Location wise the hotel is perfect and the staff were polite. Breakfast was a mix of hot cooked food and the usual cold cuts, cheeses, breads, yoghurt, fruits and juices. The breakfast room changes to a bar at night which serves affordable and nice cocktails.

Nice stay in Lille in the Ibis Centre Grand Palais.
The room is small but with all the comforts. nice and available staff. Abundant and varied breakfast with typical French products such as crepes, madeleins, cheeses, many kinds of bread.

I recommend it. There is a shopping mall nearby for shopping, and there is also a large parking lot. The transportation is convenient and fast, and it is a lot of one-time employment experience.

AAnonymous UserSpacious room, sufficient for two colleagues. Thoughtful amenities, provided additional pillow options, as well as turndown service. Good strong coffee with Nespresso machine. WiFi wa rather intermittent, kept getting disconnected during zoom online meeting but otherwise able to do emails. Short walk to conference venue (Lille Grand Palais). Limited food options nearby, often walked to Lille Flandres side or Town Centre for meals. Service was very responsive, some housekeeping staff were able to speak English. Nice touch at the end with door chocolates upon checkout. Overall a good experience.

The lounge is large and clean, you can drink when you want to drink coffee and spend a slow time
The location of the hotel is also the best location within walking distance to all the main locations of Lille

DDrLOPSThe location was very convenient for train travelling. I arrived next door at Lille Europe and continued the next day to Lille Flandres station. Walked to both.
The hotel is also working a very nice walk to city centre. Very safe and lively walk. The Westfield shopping mall is nearby so shopping is made easy.
Large mini suite. My son travelled with me so we had the small bed made out, but still had plenty of room.
Only thing are that the bathroom and toilet room seem prefabricated and are kind of wonky (though very functional. My son felt they felt as if we were in a train bathroom.
All and all, very nice.
*we did not eat at the cafeteria (it is not a restaurant, really).

TthomasdThis was our 4th stay at the people lille and the last one. The hostel is always clean and ideally located but the noise has gone up several levels and it is impossible to sleep before 2am on weekends.
The breakfast is not as good as before, there is no choice.

Only the shower head does not stay in its place on its broken support. There is no room to sit on your knees in the toilet.
And in the restaurant, the fact of paying in advance does not allow you to judge your appetite for a dessert on the same bill, which is annoying for the professional that I am and who only has to present one form per meal in the box of the document related to travel expenses.
At the restaurant, where they offer Italian cuisine, the pizza I ordered seemed a bit small for the price.
Apart from these points for improvement, this establishment is very good.

SSeanHSThe clerks on the morning shift and the evening shift are all very friendly and willing to communicate and inform about nearby supermarket facilities and so on.
The environment is very average, just enough for one night's sleep.
Being able to walk to Ikea next door was an unexpected bonus.
The breakfast croissant was delicious.
