The best of the best in Skiathos town! Your mornings starts with amazing breakfast, following the amazing pool, amazing cocktail, amazing dinner at Carnatic restaurant, amazing service, amazing room, amazing view!!! AMAZING!!!!!

A beautiful hotel. I arrived here on Tuesday afternoon 26th August. I had a fall at home the day before I came and was feeling well below my usual self. They made my stay so welcoming. My room was upgraded with a view of the marina and harbour. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had everything you can think of, from cooked ‘English’ to Greek yoghurt and various toppings and continental pastries, pies and cakes. My bag was collected from my room, taxi called etc. Thank you all for your kindness, I shall never forget it. Stella xxx

Fantastic hotel, 5 minutes from the airport, just a 2 minute walk to Skiathos town which is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of restaurants and bars, excellent food quality and choices. Cobbled streets with many shops and quaint bars to explore. The hotel has pretty views overlooking the harbour and lush green mountains to view whilst you eat your breakfast from the roof top restaurant. Again good quality food and lots of variety to choose from. We had a free half board upgrade included where you can dine at their restaurant next door excellent food, three course meals with options for starters mains and deserts. The staff made us all feel very welcome at the Alkyon hotel, Anna, Alexandra & Christos could not do enough for all of us. Free towels for the swimming pool just return and change for fresh ones, free security safe to use and rooms with kettle and tea, coffee facilities, air-conditioning was a good. The bar staff were absolutely brilliant big thanks to Elsa & Stella always greeted us with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for them. On the hotest days they made peach fruit cocktails for all guests free of charge. All of the staff made our holiday extra special and we will definitely be returning next year. The most beautiful hotel and place we have been to. Left of the hotel is a short walk past fantastic sea food restaurants and the Windmill serves amazing food where you can sit and enjoy fantastic views as well as watching the aeroplanes fly really close to you. Downside for me was a lot of bikes but you could still walk around safely and after 7pm parts of the town are closed off and only used for pedestrians and are lit up with beautiful views across the harbour.

This was our first visit to Skiathos and it didn’t disappoint! The hotel is in great location for Skiathos Town, The old and new ports and the bus stop. Anna and Alexandra were so welcoming when we arrived with drinks waiting for us. They gave us a map of the island and took the time to highlight where the must see places of interest were and how to get to them. Our luggage was taken to the room by Harris who was also lovely and chatty. The room was a triple room shared with my husband and 17yr old son. It was a side view sea room with balcony which had amazing sea view ! Although bathroom could do with updating the cleanliness could not be faulted nor the daily cleaning of not just the room but external areas too. We were B&B and the breakfast was good a varied selection hot and cold with amazing sea views. The pool area is small and sunbeds were often all in use after breakfast which wasn’t really an issue for us as we were out and about most days. Shout out also to Vasilis, Pantelis and Christos. The girls on the pool bar are excellent as are the guys and girls at breakfast. I would certainly return here.
