Hotel Generations Riviera Maya

The resort was very clean, safe and staff very friendly. Butlers Gerardo and Pablo went above and beyond to take care of our 24 family members staying at this time, helping us organize dinners, excursions, transportation and making sure our overall stay was comfortable and memorable.

Thank you. so much for creating these wonderful memories at generations. I especially like to thank Luiz M. for helping with all accommodations. Luiz M. is a very awesome person. I was happy to see him again and know that he is still the same person. My kids first meant Luiz M. when they were in elementary and now they are in college. with that said, we have known him for a very long time. Luiz, has a great personality vey helpful, very charismatic person, the person you can always count on. Generations is lucky to have him on staff. He is awesome! He will always go that extra mile to ensure we are having a great time when we visit generations. He is one of the reasons why we like to ho back for vacation at generations. I was also able to meet others staff members. Paola Crystal Alvarez. she is so sweet and so detail oriented and friendly. she was always making sure my family was always comfortable. thank you! Israel Erlich is another staff member we meant very nice and helpful very funny always great time when we would run into him. The pools were meticulously clean and comfortable. Hopefully one day the ocean will have less seaweed. We know this is because of hurricanes and mother nature. The facilities at the casitas spa. Wet , cold and therapy were truely heavenly,

We recently stayed at Generations Hotel Riviera Maya from July 16- July 20 and had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at this hotel managed by Lomas Hospitality. A significant amount of money went missing from our room, and instead of addressing the issue with urgency and professionalism, the staff and management, Fabiola Martinez, Marianna Martinez and Alejandro Carrillo, deflected all responsibility. We were initially told there was a specific protocol for handling lost or stolen items, yet it was not followed. The room was allegedly inspected without any security present and, more concerning, without waiting for me to be there during the inspection. That alone raises serious concerns about transparency and integrity. Rather than making a genuine effort to help or offer a solution, the management blamed us for "leaving the money behind," completely ignoring their responsibility to ensure guest safety and follow their own procedures. There was no accountability, no compensation, and no follow-up that demonstrated they took the matter seriously. The lack of proper investigation, the dismissive attitude from supervisors, and the behavior of the room attendants make this a serious issue. I strongly urge that Lomas Hospitality’s management practices be investigated, especially their handling of guest complaints and staff conduct. I do not recommend staying here unless you are comfortable risking your valuables and receiving no support should something go wrong. This experience was not just disappointing—it was unacceptable. I would never recommend this place to family and friends.

Jose and Pablo were absolutely wonderful! They treated our kids like family and always was bringing surprises not matter what time it was! 10/10 recommend them for Butlers! I wish there was more kids activities to do just because my kids enjoyed them so much!! Overall we had a great trip, our bellies were already full and it was a great trip! Can’t wait to come back!
