Hotels in Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street, Suzhou

Had a wonderful stay at Andu. The front desk staff are all polite, helpful and informative, especially 小张。The hotel location is centralised. Room is big and very comfortable. Breakfast is good.

Overall the hotel is in a good location, just opposite the tourist area - Pingjiang Road. It was a pity that the hotel driveway was having works as it made taking of didi really tough with the heavy traffic around. It was wonderful that they provide a laundry room that is FOC, but we met terrible hotel guests who removed my family clothes from both washer and dryer when they were still wet. More consideration into how such acts could be prevented could be in place. Hotel breakfast and gym were both basic. Special mention to Front Desk Officer Amanda (on duty on evening of 28 Dec) whose service was excellent.

Citadines Suzhou Jinji Lake is super convenient for the metro with the exit right in front of the entrance. We booked a two bedroom apartment for a family of four which was extremely spacious and comfortable. The breakfast included with our booking was ample. Our children made use of the pool each day. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

We had a pleasant and welcoming stay at this hotel. Service is excellent!! When we reached, the boss of the hotel was at the lobby to welcome us. He was friendly and bubbly. He gave suggestion to book a car ride to our hotel at hangzhou, so that we don’t have to worry about transportation the next day. He told us that there will be pouring rain at noon and reminded us to bring umbrella which was sweet and thoughtful of him. The room was not ready so we headed out for brunch and shopping first. Our luggages were already brought up to our room when we returned to hotel. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly too. We were not sure how to take Didi and they guided us. There is a free laundry service as well. Really appreciated this service especially our clothes/scarf were drenched due to the pouring rain. The room is super cozy, clean and 中国风. It has a sensor toilet and fast drying hair dryer. There’s a lounge for us to store food in the fridge. The next day when we checked out, the boss was at the lobby and he ordered the staffs to carry our luggages to the car. The driver he recommended was friendly and manage to safely sent us to Hangzhou hotel. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. 👍🏼👍🏼 We give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10 stars) to this accommodation 😄

I love this hotel location. Room seems new. I was only in 苏州overnight, so closeness to the MRT is a big plus, to get from/to the train station. Hotel is right outside gate 6 of leqiao MRT station. It is also within walking distance (2–3km) to many of the gardens. In total I saw 4 gardens, but could have seen a fifth. The main food street is close by. The staff were attentive to enthusiastic. I was grateful for the map and water that they gave me. There was much variety for breakfast, and I stuck to fruit, vegetables, orange juice and coffee. Note that there is no safe in the room, which didn't bother me. The staff also held my bag for me when I checked out to visit more gardens before my afternoon train to Shanghai.

A new hotel and super convenient location in Suzhou. Location within 2 mins walk to the old town Where’s a spectacular view . Plenty of shops and restaurants around the area from old to modern. Staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful, and able to help you with your enquiries to tour around Suzhou. I’ve stayed 1 night with breakfast, the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. , breakfast choice is good , however dining area is limited space so if the hotel is busy you may not have a space to eat . I would recommend the hotel to have a larger signs outside the entrance as it would be abit hard to find if you are a tourist . Overall I will recommend this hotel .

Perfect location, near pedestrian street. Restaurants, food street, stores, shoppings malls around hotel. Good bed and clean room.

The hotel is centrally located in the most convenient tourist area where the famous Suzhou Museum and gardens are within walking distance. However, it is rather congested if you were to travel by car to other areas in Suzhou. We managed to call hired cars during week days and non public holidays but heard that it could be extremely congested during weekends. The upgraded room class we booked was not too up to our expectation but the hotel staffs were very accomodating and offered us to switch to one with balcony and better views. Cleanliness was fine but has room for improvements. Don't expect a n extravagant breakfast but it is okay. The coffee machine a bit old n has a queue. Nevertheless, you can purchase Starbucks coffee onsite for a better taste. The Chinese garden area is very relaxing for tea and quiet moments. Very enjoyable stay indeed. Thanks to the staffs and management team there.

Booked 2 rooms for husband and I and my elderly father. Thankful for the good service as they were able to give us rooms on the same floor, and changed the room to a queen equivalent instead of twin for my father. Room was spacious, cozy, quiet. Pillow and bed was just right for us unlike other hotels where the bed was sunken or the pillows too soft. Hairdryer was fantastic! No smoke smells in the corridor or room which was important for us. Location was perfect as it was at guanqian street near food and shopping. Also pretty near to some attractions by didi or by foot. Though the toilet had leaked and they had sent their plumber to fix it, over all, the stay was by far a really comfortable one. Breakfast is similar to other hotels in shanghai that we were at. Not much western food options nor egg station.

I had a pleasant stay at Zizi Hotel Zhangyuan Mansion (Shuozhengyuan Branch) near Guanqian Street in Suzhou. The staff were very nice and welcoming, always ready to help. The room was clean and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to local attractions and shops. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke in the room, but it wasn’t overwhelming. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location.
