The Tanhaiwan Homestay was recently opened in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Leshan. The hotel offers easy access to Leshan Railway Station, just 11km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Leshanwumu Museum, Leshan Ebony Cultural Expo Garden and Suji Ancient Town all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Leshan hotel provides parking on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around.
"今天才想起來還沒評價呢，本次樂山之旅非常的愉快來老闆這裏住真的很開心，這個地方在山裡空氣非常的清新，可以帶小貓小狗來喲，不過大家請記得一定要帶貓砂盆狗廁所喲。每個房間都有院子非常得好，小貓每天都在院子裏玩耍特別開心，院子裏有一些小的花花草草，順便還幫老闆又開發了一個新項目，在庭院裏燒烤，下次老闆換一個能夠放進院子的桌子跟凳子，就更完美了，每天的食材都是非常新鮮的，炭火燒烤才是真正的燒烤，電燒烤是燒烤不出來炭火的味道的。古鎮本身就是翹腳牛肉的發源地，都説四川有一半的美食來自於樂山，而樂山裡應該有三分之二的美食都來自於古鎮吧。"

Only six km (3.7 mi) from downtown Emei, the Emeishan Hot Spring Hotel (Emeishan Wenquan Fandian) is located inside the Baoguo Temple Scenic Area and provides nearly 50,000 square meters of landscaped grounds and luxurious suites.All rooms feature air conditioning, stereo systems, cable TV and high-speed Internet access among other conveniences. Chinese and Western restaurants are available.This Emei Shan hotel is within close proximity of the largest outdoor hot spring in western China, Lingxiu Hot Spring. There are also indoor hot spring spa rooms. Guests may also enjoy KTV, the hotel bar, a trip to the sauna, billiards and working out in the gym. LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff.
When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough.
If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting.
A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance.
If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay.
A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

ممستخدم نزيلIt is a bit run down but it suits your needs. I was on the 4th floor and didn't find it that nice in the sense that a mosquito still flew in and bit me during the night (you could hear it in the room). And because there's no solid wall separating you from the living room (there's just a shelf), there wasn't any way to effectively shut the mosquito out. The night porridge also came with a piece of hair in it so from that point on, I stopped asking for the nighttime porridge.
The staff are not that nice and are actually quite rude. For example, the lady who made my milk tea and most of the front-desk staff with the exception of one. I have to shout out the shuttle driver; he was so incredibly friendly and really made me feel welcome, while everyone else made me feel like a hassle. My Chinese isn't that great but I try my best, and the lady who made the free milk tea acted like a burden when I asked her to repeat things and didn't even bother explaining what it was. They are not that friendly over WeChat either compared to other hotels I've stayed at.
Again, I have to shout out the shuttle driver. I never got his name but he was so cheerful and nice. He also helped unclog the toilet several times; not sure if there was some kind of plumbing issue but it clogged almost every single time and so I unfortunately called him a lot. But he was so patient and helpful every single time and he is the highlight of my stay. Everyone else should adopt his attitude rather than being cold over the WeChat customer service support chat, or basically shouting at you because you are having trouble understanding the free milk tea options.
