Casa Turchetti

Staying here was a highlight of our stay in Taormina. Ideally located just off the main shopping street at Taormina all shops and restaurants were on our doorstep. Our hosts Francesca and Pina were absolutely incredible providing warm hospitality and a beautiful home prepared roof top terrace breakfast daily with incredible sweeping views. The accomodation was clean with gorgeous character as a converted former monastery. Thank you Francesca for the precious memories!!

Fabulous!!! We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Turchetti! Francesca and Pino were so welcoming and right away made us feel at home! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had with Francesca’s homemade breads, cakes and jams that I wanted to can and take home with me!! The terrasse is lovely and the view is absolutely breathtaking 🤩 also loved the location and proximity to everything you need in town. I hope to go back one day! ❤️

Francesca and her staff are all very lovely and always on hand to help with anything you might need or offer dining advice. The property is centrally located but despite this, very quiet. I doubt any other property has a better view. Breakfast was a good spread and there was always a fine selection of cakes we managed to take back to our room. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend casa turchetti, and hopefully one day we will return.

This was our second visit to Casa Turchetti and we loved it just as much as our first visit. We stayed in the Lira room, which is wondefully designed in a traditional Italian way. The rooftop terrace is special and the breakfasts served there are devine. However, what really makes the place special are the hosts, Francesca and Pino and their daughter Flavia. They are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much from them. Also, to mention Elisabetta who helps at breakfast and Maria who cleans the rooms, who help make the whole experince of a wonderful holiday. Mike and Amanda

The location is unbeatable, placing you within easy walking distance of all the major sights, including the Greek Theatre, Corso Umberto, and the Isola Bella. The owners are incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional, offering personalized recommendations and creating a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. They are ready to provide local tips on excursions, restaurants and spoil you during your entire stay. But the real star of the show is the rooftop terrace. Enjoy a delicious local and homemade breakfast with breathtaking views of Taormina, Etna, and the sparkling Mediterranean. As evening descends, indulge in a romantic Limoncello Spritz as the sun dips below the horizon, casting a magical glow over the ancient town. We especially appreciated the owners' recommendation for a hidden gem of a restaurant tucked away in a side street. Casa Turchetti is definitely the perfect choice for couples seeking a blissful and unforgettable getaway.
