Our 2 room apartment is located on the second floor of a well-maintained residence building, distance to the beach just 100 meters. The living room has a separate dining area and features a dual function double sofa-bed. You will find a well equipped kitchen in an area separated. The sunny south-west facing balcony provides also a view of the Baltic Sea. The separate bedroom features a double bed, two large wardrobes and some wall cupboards provide sufficient storage space. A hairdryer is available.Attractions in surrounding of Timmendorf: Timmendorfer Strand is situated at the 'shore' of the lovely landscape of the so called Holsteinische Schweiz. This landscape is characterized by numerous lakes, a charming hill-scenery with large forests where the visitor can enjoy friendly small villages, enjoy flat sand beaches, but also can see steep cliffs of the Lübecker Bucht. Pretty little towns with affectionate buildings like Plön, Eutin, Ratzeburg or Travemünde compete with the old hanseatic city of Lübeck, where you can enjoy exceptional sight seeing impressions you will not forget like its impressive churches, the Holstentor and the wonderfull houses. In the nearst environment (no more than one hour by car) you will find the great harbours of Hamburg and Kiel. If you follow the highway A1 in the direction to Fehmarn the landscape begins to get more flat and soon you will see the imposing arc of the Fehmarnsund bridge. The property is fully fenced and is additionally limited by a modern gate system. The location is very quiet and central at the same time. The center of Niendorf and the Baltic Sea beach are only about 500m away and can be easily reached on foot in a few minutes. In Niendorf there are numerous restaurants, several bakeries, a harbor, a promenade as well as many leisure activities and entertainment options. The bird park and the Aalbeek-Niederung nature reserve are only a few minutes away from the holiday home. If you come by in winter or if the weather doesn't play along, the comfortably furnished house offers you great facilities to make you feel good.There are 3 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 free-standing beds and 1 youth room with 2 beds, 1.70x0.80), 2 bathrooms (each with toilet and shower) and a modern kitchen (with ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave and a dishwasher). But also the cozy living room (25m²) gives you the opportunity to get away from everyday stress and just enjoy your vacation in the comfortable sitting area in front of the fireplace or in the comfortable dining area.There are also many exciting excursion destinations outside of Niendorf. The beautiful Travemünder Promenade, Timmendorfer Strand with its diverse tourist offer such as B. the Sea Life Center, Holstein Switzerland with its many lakes or the old town of Lübeck with its impressive churches are always worth a visit. A trip to "Karls Erdbeerhof" and to "Hansapark" is particularly worthwhile for families. If you want to go on a longer excursion, you can also visit Hamburg, 75 kilometers away, or make a detour to Denmark via the ferry port from the island of Fehmarn. All this and much more makes Niendorf and its surroundings such a fascinating travel destination. But it's best to come by yourself and get your own picture.
