This is really great, the view is beautiful, it's right at the North Pole Gate, and the church is just down the bridge. I think it's excellent. The breakfast selection is also very diverse, with juice and bread on each floor.

I have to review this hotel. First, let me say this: if I ever return to Tromsø, this would definitely be my first choice. We stayed in room 622, a one-bedroom, one-living room room with a view, which was very spacious. I guess they upgraded us. The breakfast was hearty, and the location was very convenient—everything was within a 15-minute walk. I'm not sure why it has such a low Ctrip rating; it shouldn't be. So much so that when I later stayed at the Thon Hotel in Oslo, which had a 4.6 rating, I actually found it quite average.

I actually bought two down comforters from him! The hotel has a great location; the room isn't big, but it's very clean.

This hotel, built in 2025, has brand new facilities and a wonderful experience. The room was clean and tidy. The front desk was attentive and provided a brief overview of the hotel's amenities upon check-in. There's a small rooftop bar and a viewing platform. The location is right by the bridge, and the area itself isn't very large, making it a convenient walk to the city and easy access to other areas by bus. As the tallest building in the area, the views are fantastic, and you can even see the Northern Lights from the rooftop viewing platform. The only drawback was that the room was quite small, so I couldn't unfold two suitcases at once (which is normal for this price point). The closet didn't have room to hang clothes, so I had to hang them behind the TV or behind the mirror. I wonder if these gaps were properly cleaned. There were no paper towels. There were a few electrical outlets in the room. The price was acceptable, and the extra cost per day was worth it for a better experience. The actual experience exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is relatively new so the facilities and atmosphere are good. The service attitude is quite good. The Tang Dynasty restaurant is highly recommended. The food is average but the service is good. Maybe it was because we were the only family when we went there, so the waiters were very enthusiastic.

I stayed at The Dock 69°39 by Scandic as a solo traveler and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel has a calm and stylish atmosphere, with great views and a welcoming feel. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. My room was clean, modern, and cozy, which made it easy to relax after long days of exploring Tromso. Breakfast offered a nice variety and high quality. A great choice for anyone traveling alone and looking for comfort, convenience, and a pleasant stay.

We stayed in the Doc. A very pleasant and cozy hotel for 8 nights. On the top floor (12) you can go outside and view the whole town from above. There are also seats that you can sit and enjoy the sun (when available). Om the 10th Floor is a bar and a restaurant. The bar is situated in kind of the corridor from the lift to the restaurant, so is very narrow. with just a few seats next to the windows with the bar about a meter away. So not really a place to sit at and to have easy talks with other people. Downstairs at the reception are comfortable armchairs and other seats where you can lounge in. You can also order drinks there. The hotel is situated next to the bridge across to the famous church, at the harbor site and at an easy and pleasant walk from the town Centre. The staff are all very friendly. 1. The rooms are comfortable. 2. The TV has only a few (not really interesting) TV stations. 3. The lights in the room are quite dim so it is not easy to read or write. 4. There is no telephone in the room to contact reception. 5. But: the rooms are not soundproof. Already the first day we were there we heard the whole evening heavy thuds f someone walking about. We then thought we just had a very noisy upstairs neighbor. Next day the same happened but then even after 23 pm. Next day we asked for another room. The staff was very helpful and gave us an other (bigger) room. But that did not really help. Also there we heard a lot of noises of people walking like elephants. And again not the whole evening through and sometimes even at 2 of 5 o'clock in the morning. We then also found out that it was not just the neighbor upstairs who caused that, but also the neighbors in the adjacent rooms and also people walking passed our room in the corridor. So if you are a light sleeper you will have a problem having a nice sleep.

Perfect hotel that should be ranked as 5 stars. Really clean and quiet rooms, perfect and complete breakfast, best view.

Our tiny room had a great view from the 9 th floor. No closet. Barely enough room to walk around the bed and little bathroom with no tub. Check in person lacked any charm. However, the rooms were clean, breakfast staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection fantastic along with a barista. Good fish stew at the downstairs restaurant for dinner. Very good service and spectacular view and elegant ambiance from the Upper Dock restaurant thought the food was “fine”, a little bland and not very creative.

What we loved most is the stunning interiors of all the areas. Beautiful lounge, two great restaurants, one with a fabulous view and cosy bar. Friendly staff. Within close walking distance of Tromsø’s quaint town and harbour area. Overall a great experience.

Very nice and cozy rooms. But the breakfast is absolutely the best I’ve ever had. What truly makes this hotel special, though, is the staff serving breakfast. I have never experienced service like this—genuinely kind, attentive, and perfect in every way. I really hope the owners of the hotel appreciate just how exceptional the breakfast staff is.
