Aldiana Club Rocca Nettuno Calabria

This is our third visit to the Rocca Nettuno and definitely not our last. There are a few changes since the property changed ownership this year but we were thrilled to see all our favourite staff are still here and that the rooms and grounds are better than ever. We had an ocean view room that was very spacious, immaculately kept and had all the amenities we needed. Plus, the view was breathtaking! The food is absolutely the best we have ever experienced and we are so impressed with the Chefs and the staff for all their incredible work in the dining room. The private beach is one of the biggest highlights of the property and is always so well maintained. The gardening crew do an outstanding job of creating the most beautiful landscape throughout the entire property - there is beauty in everywhere you look. Without a doubt, the best part of a visit to the Rocca Nettuno is the staff. I don’t think I have ever stayed at a resort where the staff are so warm, friendly and happy. Every single staff member we encountered were an absolute delight to meet. There are far too many to name individually but I wanted to give a very special thanks to the following: - Giovanni at the front desk. We are truly indebted to Giovanni for all he does to make our time at the Rocca Nettuno absolutely wonderful! - Antonella - front desk; so very lovely and helpful all the time - Emma - housekeeping; a spotless room every day. And always smiling! - Vlad! He saved the day by making sure we could watch the Italian National football game. A lovely and helpful person. - Pascal in the dining room; thank you for your warm hospitality and outstanding service - Giuseppe - magnificent cafe lattes everymorning! - Pasquale - at the dining room. So happy and friendly every single day. We love to hear him singing and whistling! - Nicola - dining room manager . Amazing holiday with my girlfriend and friends. I travel a lot for business and leisure and I always evaluate hotels and resorts on the same parameters: 1) comfort: room was perfect. Clean, stunning sea view, modern, large shower and - more important - the bed was very comfortable and I had very good rest… special mention to the air conditioning system with the most effective control panel I’ve ever used. 2) food: large buffet with excellent food, every day fully happy and satisfied with selection. 3) location: private beach on a magnificent sea… and just 15 minutes walking time from the beatiful Tropea and its shops, bars and historic buildings. From Tropea we have easily reached local amazing places like Eolie Islands, Pizzo, Capo Vaticano and Scilla. Just two suggestions to the new management: A) a shuttle to Tropea center would help (especially in hot season and for families with young children or old people); B) Entertainment: not a big fan but room for improvement, not only because too tailored on german customers (which can be normal if the most part of guests are from there, up to a certain limit) but “local traditions” were fully missing. Being in Italy and in Calabria, I think that guests would be happy to see more local folklore.

Beautiful place, perfect sea and extremely professional staff. I would ask the local confectioner and ice cream maker to marry him :) Hotel environment maintained with a beautiful garden. Ala carte restaurant with excellent service. I can only recommend it, it's really worth it

Beutiful resort, place, amazing views. Great rooms, areas, gardens, pools, bar, restaurants, beach. Their own elevator down to a dedicated beach. Awesome staff, animation team. We felt really welcomed. Celebrated my wife's 40th birthday and the animation team/staff met my requests to make her day extra. Cakes, singing, extra nice tables etc. Really friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended (!)

Currently by the beautiful pool on our last afternoon here. The hotel has been one of the best we have ever stayed in. The staff, each and everyone from front desk, restaurants, bar and house keeping, are wonderful! So happy, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We have enjoyed a modern sea view premium double room which has been excellent in size, exceptionally clean each day and breathtaking sea view over Tropea. The pool is beautifully clean, a great size, sunbeds are comfortable and plentiful and the life guard is always on hand so you don’t have to lift a finger. The bar staff are friendly, courtesy and the drinks are plenty. The restaurant is fantastic!! Both the Buffett which is fresh, varied choice, beautifully served and presented. The al a carte is a really pleasurable dining experience, the pianist a wonderful touch. Every single meal has been most enjoyable. The entertainment is varied, just enough to enjoy passing the evening. Positioned overlooking Tropea it is a pleasurable 20min stroll into town and an easy incline but up, we did this most days either in the day or in the evening after dinner, we found the town of Tropea a wonderful vibe. A truly wonderful stay, a hotel and location we would highly recommend.

A week-long vacation at this hotel (4 adults), all-inclusive. The hotel's location is excellent with beautiful views. It sits atop a high cliff, with an elevator that takes you down to the hotel's private beach (there’s a hotel's beach bar offering drinks, pizza, pasta, etc.). The hotel's garden is large and exceptionally well-maintained. Stunning. The all-inclusive meals were tasty, with options for vegetarians as well. House wines and beers were included with meals, and the desserts were delicious. The tennis court was available for booking, and it was easy to get time slots every day. There were a few fitness machines in the garden, but the hotel doesn't have a proper gym. The hotel is clean, and there was evening entertainment every night (though it ended early enough that music didn’t disturb the rooms). Our hotel room was basic, with the pillows being slightly uncomfortable. We didn't book a sea view, but we still got a partial one. Nice. Our adult children had a garden view, which was also nice. The hotel staff was hardworking, friendly, and eager to help.
