We recently stayed at Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka’an and overall had a fantastic experience. The rooms are lovely, and the service is absolutely outstanding — the staff simply cannot do enough for you. Drinks were sometimes a little strong, but always enjoyable, and the restaurants across the resort are beautiful. On day three our bed broke, but it was replaced within just a couple of hours, which shows how efficient and attentive the staff are. We also celebrated our anniversary during our stay, and the team at Tequila Restaurant went above and beyond — our table was beautifully decorated and I ordered a cake for four people, which turned out to be one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had. It really made our evening special. We spent many days at the infinity pool, which was brilliant and very relaxing. The only downside was when the seaweed removal started — unfortunately, the smell was quite overpowering and did take away from the experience a little. The biggest issue for us, however, was the mosquitos. Even with repellent, I had too many bites to count. While this obviously isn’t the hotel’s fault, it was unpleasant enough that it would stop me from staying here again. That said, I would happily consider the sister hotel, Akumal, for a future trip, as the service, food, and staff across the Bahia Principe chain is excellent.

First week at the hotel, here are some things to avoid. The shopping trip, it’s organised by an external company and you are taken to their shops to buy silver and tequila before being taken to their local town, not worth it. Watch out for loud Americans in the pool areas, when we were there, a few congregated in the pool drinking, swearing and generally being very loud, there are many pools to choose from so easy to move elsewhere. My wife got food poisoning on a trip we went to see the Myanmar ruins where they laid on lunch, best to take snacks and lots of water for that trip. Now what’s good about the hotel, staff are extremely friendly, lots of food choice and very tranquil. Biggest tip would be to book up the fine dining restaurants before you leave, they book up fast. We came for 10 days and it has gone fast, would certainly book again.

Hubby and I did a quick little 5 day get away and we had a wonderful time! All of the staff was great (minus one little incident at the Akumal resort). The resort is BEAUTIFUL, jungle escapes while being minutes to the beach and ocean! The a la carte restaurants were wonderful, although very difficult to book as reservations fill quick. We typically ended up booking day of between 3-5pm once there had been some cancellations. The buffets always had quite the variety of options to choose from as well. It’s really nice that the “all inclusive” extends to the other three resorts on the property - we were never lacking on anything! The shuttles that take you between resorts is perfect. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to travel to Mexico!

It's just amazing as always. What a perfect lovey beautiful hotel in the Riviera Maya. We had a jacuzzi roof terrace this time. The room was lovely. Staff are perfect. From all the staff at the Yal Ku buffet, Daniel and Fustino are so friendly. All the staff are friendly. Mexico is a friendly place. The food is just amazing. Breakfast and lunch at Sian Khan are just excellent. We eat at the ala carte. Alux is wonderful. Makio was good. The while resort is beautiful. There was a little seaweed in the beach, but the staff worked tirelessly to remove it. Still managed to snorkel well. Every meal we had in the complex was amazing. We had a steak extra at the Don Pablo restaurant tomorrow, and it was just the best steak ever. Well presented, too. The rooms are cleaned so well. We estimated that there must be at least 500 plus staff on duty a day around the complex. They can not do enough for you. We are sad to be home and back to work, but if you want an incredible resort, food, drink, and service at a good price, then book here. The bed was so comfy. Turn down service at night to. This is the best Bahia of all of them for us. Visit, it's just paradise. A bit of building work was going on at the Akumal section, and Coba, however , is still lovely. The wildlife is incredible, and the grounds are beautiful. We have booked again for next year. Special mention to Reberto Kumul, who attended to our requests. The bed and pillows are so comfortable. The resort is bog enough to do so much. Karts were quick to get you around the resort. We can't recommend the place enough. We met 4 different couples which were there last year, the same time as us. The returning guests show you it's worth coming back for. Thank you to all the staff at Bahia Mexico. Another wonderful stay in paradise.

First time to this resort and to say we had our minds blown would be an understatement. From the smooth check in, right through the entire week until check out with Ricardo as well as Rodrigo we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this little slice of heaven. Did the buffet breakfast all except for 2 days, and had the pleasure of dealing with Ramon. Very kind, sweet gentleman that always remembered our morning order for cappuccino, mimosas and baileys. Throughout the day, the entertainment team kept everyone on their toes with fun little games. Kudos to Alexander, Delmar, and the rest of the team. Only recommendation for entertainment would be when having the foam party, it should be at opposite end of activity pool from the stairs. The entire bar staff were great and very prompt with any orders that were placed. We partook in 4 a la cartes: Tequila, Katok, Portafino, and Gran Tortuga. Delicious meals and amazing service every evening. We booked same times but separate as couples but they were able to get us together each time There was the jewelry store in the lobby, Martin, and Carolina were who we mostly worked with. Thank you for everything. All around, phenomenal place to unwind and relax. If thinking of going here, do not hesitate. Worth every bit that you spend

Came to this hotel with my partner and had the best experience ever. Genuinely loved this hotel en we would live to come back one day. Every single staff member made us feel so special, the food was amazing, the room and the pool was amazing too. Eduardo at the all inclusive buffet restaurant made our experience so special he set our table up with roses flowers swans you name it. Genuinely the best holiday ever. Leaving this review very late as we stayed here in September 2019 but it was the best holiday ever and so so memorable, we’ll never forget eduardo!!
