This was our first time in Mexico and we thoroughly enjoyed 10 nights stay in the hotel. Although the room was a little tired, it was cleaned and mini fridge stocked every day. We stayed in deluxe junior garden suite. We have not used the outdoor jacuzzi as the hotel is in the jungle and too many mosquitoes. Visited a few restaurants within all four hotels within the resort. We spent most of time in Akumal as more lively and close to the beach. Overall amazing stay we will remember for a long time. Great memories.

We recently stayed at Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka’an and overall had a fantastic experience. The rooms are lovely, and the service is absolutely outstanding — the staff simply cannot do enough for you. Drinks were sometimes a little strong, but always enjoyable, and the restaurants across the resort are beautiful. On day three our bed broke, but it was replaced within just a couple of hours, which shows how efficient and attentive the staff are. We also celebrated our anniversary during our stay, and the team at Tequila Restaurant went above and beyond — our table was beautifully decorated and I ordered a cake for four people, which turned out to be one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had. It really made our evening special. We spent many days at the infinity pool, which was brilliant and very relaxing. The only downside was when the seaweed removal started — unfortunately, the smell was quite overpowering and did take away from the experience a little. The biggest issue for us, however, was the mosquitos. Even with repellent, I had too many bites to count. While this obviously isn’t the hotel’s fault, it was unpleasant enough that it would stop me from staying here again. That said, I would happily consider the sister hotel, Akumal, for a future trip, as the service, food, and staff across the Bahia Principe chain is excellent.

A couple of things just wasn’t up to snuff as far as I thought one luxury hotel playing bingo as an activity is not what I envisioned as a luxury hotel as a solo traveler they made it very uncomfortable sometimes with the restaurants putting you in the middle and the entertainment at night was not like it was two years ago and now you have to do a Mexican festival at an extra cost if you want to see some of the stuff that was available two years ago

We arrived here on the 8th September and are currently still here until Friday. There is myself and my husband and my daughter and her boyfriend. We came last year and stayed at Akumal we couldn't get booked this year so decided to stay in this hotel as intended to use the other hotels. When we arrived we were seen to straight away and offered a drink. Took by trolley to our rooms. The rooms are very dated but clean. Very noisy air con. Mini bar was stocked but we noticed that lots of things we had last year were not there such as coca cola and snacks. This resort is very limited to food and found the buffet not as good as akumal. Snack bar not alot of choice. Pool area ok as there are 4 pools. Entertainment no where near as good as last year. Even the Akumal didn't have alot of evening entertainment. Resort very quiet and sports bar very quiet. Rained a few days and we felt that there wasn't much organised if you were inside My daughters boyfriends wallet went missing with money in it and we informed the front desk. Myself and husband went through the room with a fine tooth comb and no sign of it. 4 members of staff came over and thrn all of a sudden they found it There was no money in it when they found it so very suspicious We found coba and tulum had more happening We met some lovely people from various countries. Overall we would not return to sian kahn.

Generally, this was a good experience. Facilities are good and the food was nice. It was difficult to book a la carte restaurants, however, which resulted in nearly always having to use the buffets. Apparently, guests can book the restaurants prior to even arriving on holiday but not having stayed here before, we did not know this, so booking the speciality restaurants is problematic as there’s limited availability for those of us who have not booked several weeks in advance. Also, we noticed that in the eateries, it would seem if you are a Mexican guest, you get better service from employees. Not good! The spa was nice. My niece and I had a massage and it was a lovely experience and not overly priced. If we had had time, we’d have had a couple more. The staff there are top notch. Another good thing here is that the room service is included in the all inclusive package, as is the mini bar in the rooms. Never known that before. Nice touch. We would certainly stay again.

Amazing stay as ever at Sian Ka'an. Guest experience made our stay unforgettable yet again! Our thanks go out to Enrique and Isobela who went out of their way to ensure everything was to our satisfaction with the room, restaurants and sorting minor niggles and decorating our room for our special occasion! Restaurant staff were amazing, in particular Edgaldy and Daniel! At the bar Giovani, Carlos 1 and Corlos 2 helped us lots! Pablo and Randy were also amazing. The girls on service, Gabrielle, Zieldy, Melisa were outstanding as ever. I'd also love to mention the Cenote staff. Jose, Claudia in particular and one more staff member whos name I can't remember, who returned our lost property! Thanks again!! We will be back soon!
