Nice and clean hotel, excellent service, special attention goes to its restaurant—very good Indian veg cuisine and also safe for western stomachs. The hotel itself is an ex-ghat, so there’s a direct exit to the river which is perfect to explore the historical part of the city and to take a boat ride at the sunset. Clean bathroom and no electricity shortage: even when the whole neighbourhood is blacked out, the generator would still function so the AC is always on. Def a reco for female travelers, just be careful when coming back at dark as the hotel is situated in a very quite zone and the streets are pretty empty during the night.

The view from the hotel especially from the Terrace is undoubtedly a heaven view! Near The Ganges, the view looks really very beautiful and also gives a peaceful vibe. All staffs are very cooperative. Highly recommended!

This is the most incredible hotel in Varanasi - wonderful staff, cozy hotel, and incredible views. They always went above and beyond to make our stay magical. We enjoyed the morning yoga and how attentive everyone was on the staff. I will only stay at this hotel in the future.

This is a very clean and traditional hotel with excellent attentive staff who strive make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The hotel is situated right on the banks of the Ganges making access to sights, sounds & boat trips very easy to get to. Alternatively, the road is a short walking distance giving you access to taxis to explore the rest of Varanasi.

This is a very beautiful, cosy heritage type property located in the heart of the city and on the banks of river Ganga. Services are exceptional. Food is very delicious and it is served fresh and with a smile. Rooms are well appointed. Definitely worth considering. Since is located on river front , the cab will drop you about 200 meters away but the hotel sends a porter to pick your luggage and in fact they make sure that you don't face any inconvenience. Overall, excellent service.

Absolutely blissful stay at Suryauday Haveli. The place is peaceful, the rooms are clean with a breathtaking view on the Ganges . The staff are warm, kind and supportive towards guests with limited mobility. A Big Thank You to the team- Mr Uday, Hassan, Culdip, Sandeep, Brijesh.

this is an excellent property right on the banks of river Ganga. the entire staff is extremely courteous and professional. food is very delicious and it is served absolutely fresh. my room was very well appointed. The property is on the heart of the city making it easy for commuting to all important places. overall I had excellent experience.
