Exceptionally friendly staff and a General Manager who is visible and ready to assist. A very high standard of renovation in a heritage building and location to the palace is first class. My husband was up early every morning to walk the gardens of the palace and virtually had it to himself! The breakfast room is stunning and is also available for light lunch. Staff here are friendly and attentive. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would revisit. We dined in the restaurant LaTable Lumieres one night and it was very enjoyable (see separate review).

In one of the grand buildings of Louis XIV's time, this glorious hotel overlooks the Palace but is so tranquil it's hard to believe you're literally steps from the entrance to the palace! Fabulous rooms, the comfiest of beds, and truly lovely staff who make you feel they really care that you have the best time. Can't praise this hotel high enough.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel boutique de grand standing, au style résolument élégant et discret. L'emplacement est exceptionnel, à quelques minutes à pied du parc du Château de Versailles, ce qui en fait une adresse idéale pour une escapade raffinée. Les chambres, récemment rénovées, sont décorées avec goût, dans un esprit contemporain sobre et chaleureux. Le confort est au rendez-vous, avec une literie de qualité et des matériaux bien choisis. À noter toutefois : il semble qu’aucune chambre ne bénéficie d’une véritable vue directe sur le Château, la partie orientée vers celui-ci étant réservée aux espaces communs et à la restauration. L’atmosphère générale du lieu est calme et feutrée, propice au repos. On ressent une volonté d’excellence dans le design et l’expérience client. Cependant, ce niveau d’exigence mériterait d’être pleinement soutenu par un service à la hauteur. En effet, le personnel bien que courtois dans son ensemble, semble parfois en sous-effectif. Cela se ressent dans certains détails, notamment dans l’entretien des parties communes. Lors de notre passage, nous avons assisté à une scène regrettable : une femme de ménage, visiblement agacée par le câble de son aspirateur, s’est mise à heurter les murs pourtant neuf sans ménagement. Une scène peu en accord avec l’ambiance sereine que l’on attend dans un établissement de ce standing. Cela étant dit, le potentiel de cet hôtel est réel, et l’expérience globale reste très agréable. Avec un renforcement du service et une attention plus rigoureuse portée aux détails, cet établissement pourrait sans nul doute atteindre l’excellence qu’il vise.

ヴェルサイユ宮殿からもすぐ近いこのホテルは、Relais & Chateauxグループで、去年2024年にオープンしたばかり。 ルイ１４世の当時政府官であった, Edouard Colbert と Antoine de Gamont の2軒の館をつなげて、３１部屋あるホテルに改装したようです。 ホテルの通りの名前も、Rue Colbert、まさに歴史的建築物でありました。 館内はシックな内装で、中心にあるテラスを囲むように部屋が配置されているので、部屋によっては、エレベーターから中廊下をグルッと半周、迷路の様です。 ３１部屋のブティックホテルならでは、という感じ。 お部屋は新しくて綺麗、フランスのスピリッツを取り入れながらモダンなデザインです。 バスルームはタブとシャワーは別で綺麗、シャワーは使いやすかったです。 クロゼットも収納たっぷり。 朝食のレストランはPierre Herme指揮で美しい内装です。 なるほど、Pierre Hermeのマカロンやらも色々売っていました。 ブッフェスタイルですが、卵料理は別に作ってくれます。 スタッフのマラムさん（Malam)は、とても好感の持てる親切なプロフェッショナル。 女性のジュリーさん（Julie)は、去年日本に観光へ行ったそうで、いかに日本が素敵だったか語ってくれました。 素敵な滞在をありがとうございました。 This hotel, located just a short distance from the Palace of Versailles, is part of the Relais & Châteaux group and only opened recently in 2024. It was created by connecting two former residences of Louis XIV's government officials—Edouard Colbert and Antoine de Gamont—and transformed into a 31-room hotel. The street name, Rue Colbert, itself reflects the historic significance of the property. The interior is elegantly decorated, and the rooms are arranged around a central terrace. Depending on the room, you might find yourself walking halfway around an inner corridor from the elevator—it feels almost like a maze, in a charming boutique hotel kind of way. The rooms are brand new and very clean, with a modern design that also captures the spirit of France. The bathroom had a separate tub and shower, and everything was spotless. The shower was particularly easy to use. There was also ample closet space for storage. The breakfast restaurant, designed under the direction of Pierre Hermé, is beautifully decorated. Naturally, a variety of Pierre Hermé’s macarons and other treats were available for purchase as well. The breakfast was buffet-style, but egg dishes were prepared separately to order. One of the staff members, Mr. Malam, was especially kind and professional—very pleasant to interact with. Another staff member, Ms. Julie, told us she had visited Japan last year and spoke fondly about how wonderful her experience was there. Thank you for a truly delightful stay.
