Great location. Needs maintenance

典型的美式裝修。房間雖小，但是衞生間不小，床單被套是乾淨的，兩人床。底樓有熱水和咖啡。距離白宮，博物館挺近。華盛頓比起紐約冷清了不少，穿着誇張的人也少了很多。紐約人很熱情，華盛頓人挺禮貌，當然傲慢的白人也挺多。千萬不要小看店裡和車站的小黑哥，小黑姐，認真工作的人值得尊重，而且他們還更樂於助人。

房間不大，很安靜。大堂有燒水壺。不錯

I read the reviews before booking, but this hotel was so convenient to the event I was attending, I decided to take a chance. And boy was I glad I did! I was greeted warmly upon arrival and my request for early check-in (by several hours!) so that I could freshen up after my flight and before my meeting was graciously accommodated, which was very much appreciated. This despite the room they had originally reserved for me not yet being ready; they moved me to a 9th (top) floor room, which even though it had a view of the next building's wall out the window was both spacious and scrupulously clean. I was very happy with the substitution and the kind way that it was offered. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. As other reviewers have noted, the hotel is an historic building, so it is quirky and cool, with small, twisty hallways - - all which added to the charm. I noticed no odd smells, the room and bedding was immaculate, and the shower was THE BEST - - even though on the top floor, pressure was tremendous with plenty of hot water. I would DEFINITELY stay here again, without hesitation. (Oh, and by the way, I LOVED the "flat" pillows - -there were plenty of them on the bed, they were new and were MUCH easier to sleep on than unrealistically puffy and fluffy pillows!)

Great Value Stay We needed last minute room for one night and the Architect delivered. We appreciated that the front desk staff was on duty 24 hours. Our room was spacious and clean, if sparse but did have a closet with safe and ironing board. Location is excellent - close to Metro station, buses, plenty of restaurants, etc

Nice hotel downtown. Bathroom was clean. Rooms are not large, they’re great for a place to sleep.
