Atour Hotel Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Square

The hotel is not the easiest to find, it’s tucked away in a corner alley, which made it tricky to locate using ride-sharing apps. On the plus side, a convenience store is about a 6-minute walk away, and the train station entrance is only 4 minutes on foot, so the location is fairly convenient. Breakfast was a decent Chinese-style spread, though nothing remarkable. The biggest downside was the faulty air-conditioning, which seemed to be a common issue as other guests also complained. My room was stuffy and musky on arrival, and disappointingly, even the corridor felt cooler and more comfortable. Service recovery was prompt! Staff provided a humidifier and offered to change rooms, but since I was only staying two nights, I chose not to move and ended up with a less comfortable sleep. On the positive side, the hotel has a decent gym, and I appreciated thoughtful extras like shoe wipes and cleaning spray at the laundry area. Overall, it’s a decent choice near the Bell & Drum Tower attractions, though the (likely temporary) air-conditioning issue noticeably affected the comfort of my stay.

Great location right at the main attractions. Hotel room overlooked book drum and bell tower. Room has many convenient electrical points and wireless charging stations. Breakfast was great as per all Atour hotels

My wife and I are very glad to have chosen to stay at ATOUR Hotel Bell & Drum Tower during this visit to Xi’an. The staff 锐澳,耿介,永修,澜兮at the Reception Desk we met was cheerful, energetic and very helpful; They tended to our queries and requests for assistance promptly. They made us feel-at-home while staying at ATOUR. Also, our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed this visit to Xi’an partly because of our wise choice to stay at ATOUR.
