Hotels in Dayan Pagoda/The Grand Tang Mall, Xi'an

We had a wonderful stay! Very warm welcome and free afternoon desserts! Walking distance to Furong Yuan and Everbright City! 3mins to Subway station! One of the best hotels we have stayed in China. Highly recommended. PS: we were assigned a hotel host, Miss Guanfang Ren. She is very sweet and sent free fruits/desserts/tea and requested items to our room during our stay. Thank you so much, Miss Ren!

The room's interior design is stunning, showcasing the hotel's meticulous attention to detail. I particularly appreciated thoughtful touches like the weighing scale, which is neatly placed at the bottom of the cabinet, and the uniquely designed bed frame. The toilet features a Japanese-style seat that stays warm, offering extra comfort. The room layout is designed for convenience, allowing easy circular movement, which adds to the overall experience. Additionally, the TV offers international sports channels, including Premier League matches, a rare feature in many hotels. Lastly, the staff's (Jiaxue) warm and genuine service made my stay truly enjoyable, standing out from the more mechanical approach often encountered elsewhere. 房间的室内设计非常出色，充分展现了酒店对细节的极致关注。我特别喜欢一些贴心的设计，比如体重秤被巧妙地安放在柜子的底部，以及独特设计的床架。卫生间采用了日式马桶，座圈始终保持温暖，增添了额外的舒适感。房间布局设计得非常方便，可以轻松地绕着走动，提升了整体体验。此外，电视提供国际体育频道，包括英超联赛，这在许多酒店里并不常见。最后，工作人员＜前台佳雪＞热情且真诚的服务让我感到宾至如归，与许多地方机械化的服务相比，这里的服务尤为出色，使我的入住更加愉快。

Having a great time at this hotel so far, the room is a total steal for the price. I especially love the tub by the window with the chaise lounger both overlooking the streets below. I booked the room while the hotel is renovating their restaurant perhaps the price was further discounted, but even without the convenience of the hotel restaurant there's plenty of food options, convenience stores, and the pagoda all within walking distance. Service is excellent, props off particularly to Lisa 李圓圓 at the front desk being incredibly professional and accommodating to my requests for more soft drinks and answering all my questions about the hotel's services and the area in general with patience and attention. The 5th floor manager / cleaning lady has also been extra thorough and even left a note with a hard warmer packet on my table.

The service at this hotel was great. The staff working there is verg helpful at any moment of the day. There’s also a cafe that’s part of the hotel with great coffee and pastries. We enjoyed our stay even more because of the hotel. The location is also very convenient. It’s near the metro and busstation so getting to the further destinations is very easy. The hotel is also very suitable if you have some work to do as the cafe part is very quiet and accessible for everyone. would definitely book it again when i visit xi’an in the future :)

We checked in at 2am. There were one person at the reception and another bellhop at his 60s. Other than then 60s bellhop was friendly greeting us, the receptionist has no chill or whatsoever to welcome us. We have 6 luggages and our rooms can’t be accessed by just a lift directly. This hotel failed to mention that all these rooms can only be accessed by different flight of stairs and elevator. This particular large room can only be accessed by 3 different flights of stairs at different location. There is this particular stairs we have to climb down to our room, has no lights, we have to use our own phone torch. At first we were told it’s their procedure to switch off the stairs light after 12am. After complaints, they decided to switch it on for the rest of our stays. Throughout we carried our luggages our self to the room as the bellhop is old, we were afraid we gave him too much stress. Room wise, the tv, living room, wardrobe arrangement has no common sense at all. 2 tvs each facing the bed. The living room has no tv, so if you wanna chill and watch tv with your family, go to your bed and watch. There is only one wardrobe at the living room blocked by the sofa. You have to squeeze in to hang your jacket. There is no coffee cups or spoon. I stir my coffee with their tooth brush provided in a Champaign glass. You might ask why a Champaign glass, because the room service just doesn’t wash your normal glasses after you use it. Worth mentioning, the coffee I drank in the morning, the glass is still there unwashed at night. The can of coke I left it there on the first day, was still there on the last day. Probably they think leaving it there for long will taste better. The room service is really bare min. I understand this is a garden balcony kind of hotel, like a chalet, but they should really buck up on their bellhop services and room cleaning services. It’s really tiring to walk and carry our luggages to our own room. Not to mention checking out is the same. The safety of the guest are not really taken care of given that they expect you to use your own torch to navigate down the stairs on the first day. Also, the everyday room service does not clean the bedsheets even if there are clothes tags or clothes linen on the bed. They simply pull the sheets, tuck in, as long as it looks nice, they doesn’t care about what’s on it and underneath the blanket. Just wanna say, The price we paid for this hotel is same as those nearby.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. The front desk was incredibly friendly and attentive, when she noticed that I booked 5 nights, she immediately upgraded my room to ensure that I had the best possible experience staying there. The room was spotless, bed was comfortable and I loved the Jurlique lavender hand lotion they provided, such a thoughtful touch! The location of the hotel was unbeatable, just a few steps away from Tayenta metro exit C, and it just a short walk to the bustling 大唐不夜城。 I stayed there for 5 nights and I truly didn’t want to leave, I will definitely stay here again if I visit Xian again. Highly recommended this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

The location is good, just outside the subway station, suitable for visiting the Tang Dynasty City that Never Sleeps, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi Museum ~ The service attitude is good and responsive. The windows are very good. The hotel faces the street, but the noise is much smaller when the windows are closed. This is the best soundproofing I have seen in hotels in China! The only drawback is that there is no refrigerator in the room. It is very inconvenient not to have a refrigerator in such a hot place like Xi'an! Also, the air conditioner in the room never cooled down. From check-in to check-out, I kept the air conditioner at 16 degrees, but the room temperature remained at around 25 degrees. I don't know why...

This is the first time I stayed in this Al Smart Hotel when I came to Xi'an. I saw that the online ratings were good, so I tried it. It was really good: Service: When I arrived at the door of the hotel, the waiter saw me carrying a box and took the initiative to help me move it. As soon as I entered the lobby, he immediately poured water and asked the guests to sit down to check in. Compared with the traditional standing at the front desk waiting to check in, this hotel truly achieved five-star service. After moving in, if you need anything, call the front desk to solve it as soon as possible. The robot that delivers things is also very polite haha. Hygiene: There is nothing to pick in terms of hygiene. It is clean and hygienic, and the details are in place. Environment: The hotel environment is very good, the overall environment is very warm and comfortable, and there are free skin care products in the room, and makeup remover is really friendly and convenient for girls. By the way, the hotel's location is also very advantageous. It is very close to the subway station and the SEG business district. You can go out for a walk and see the night view at night. Just walk directly. Breakfast and afternoon tea are also very delicious. You can eat local specialties in Xi'an in the hotel. This is the first time I have reviewed a hotel so seriously. The room is very satisfactory, the transportation is convenient, it is just opposite the subway entrance, next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Music Fountain, and it is also very close to the City That Never Sleeps. Joy City is right next to it. It is quiet at night, much quieter than home. The TV is super small Xiaomi TV. The room is clean and sanitary. The front desk lady also upgraded the room type for free, very 👍
