Hotels in Yao Hu Town/Longchi Mountain, Yixing

Yaohu Town is a newly developed internet-famous tourist attraction, and we chose this newly opened hotel. Although the hotel is not in the scenic area, there is a free shuttle bus, which is very convenient. There are several parking lots. P1 has a charging station but parking is not free. Parking is available on the streets around the hotel and is free. The check-in speed at the front desk was quite fast, and the housekeeper took us to the room. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room was very large and the balcony was very large, facing the warehouse of the small train opposite. The corridors and rooms still have a slightly renovated feel. The environment and facilities are OK. What needs to be suggested is that the service awareness of some of the restaurant's waiters needs to be improved. The aunt who was frying eggs asked me to have the egg fried on one side. When she put it on the plate for me, the yolk was facing downwards. This happened twice in a row. She said it would taste the same even if it was spread out, so why did I want to have the egg fried on one side? The auntie who cooked the noodles provided good service. She introduced the dishes at her stall and told us to wait for the wontons. The breakfast items are quite rich.

An unexpectedly delightful surprise of a hotel! It's like finding a rare hidden gem in a blind box! We drove to Yixing for a summer weekend and checked in around 5 PM with no queue. Interestingly, when we checked out around noon on Sunday, the check-in area was bustling with a huge crowd. Even though it was peak season and quite busy, both Yaohu Town and the hotel grounds are very spacious, so our overall experience remained excellent. Driving in, the underground parking is located at the exhibition center directly in front of the hotel, and they offer a convenient shuttle service to and from the hotel entrance. Our room's balcony faced the town, with the swimming pool just opposite. We had a perfect view of the evening water and fireworks shows right from our room. The minibar was complimentary, and we were even welcomed with a fruit platter. Both the refrigerator and air conditioning worked perfectly, and having two sinks in the bathroom was a great convenience. In the evening, we took a pleasant stroll around the town. It wasn't hot, with a refreshing breeze, which was lovely. There were performances, some shops to browse, and a unique 'fish scale dam' area perfect for splashing around. We were a bit concerned about breakfast being overcrowded during the summer peak, but even arriving at 9 AM, we found plenty of open tables. The food was consistently replenished, plates were cleared promptly, and the ingredients were fresh. There was a wide variety of dishes, including Yixing's distinctive black glutinous rice, which you could use to make your own 'black rice fritter wraps'. Due to time constraints, we didn't get to visit the water park, but it looked incredibly fun. With a swimsuit and a float, you could easily spend half a day there. We also had our child try Zisha pottery making. It cost 88 RMB to create one piece, and an additional 68 RMB for firing and shipping it home. It was a really interesting and unique experience!

Generally general. Upgraded the Yaohu Hotel (the inn said that it was waxing and there was noise), the same price seems to be more cost-effective. Arrive at the store around 2:40, queue for about 25 minutes to check in.4 a window, the efficiency is not very high, carrying two bags is a bit tired. I finally waited, saying that the room on the high floor I noted has not been cleaned yet. There is a room on the low floor that has been cleaned to be checked. I said that this is it. After I have done it, I told me that the room to be checked also needs to wait. I asked how long I had to wait. I turned around and asked the leader and said that the high floor had and I can stay right away, I don't know what the situation is... The bed is 2 meters very comfortable! The swimming pool, this is the unexpected joy of upgrading the hotel here, but the experience is too bad. I went out to see the pool along the lobby sign. The doors on the left and right sides circled and found that I couldn't get in. After studying for a long time, I found that I had to go to the upper floor of the hotel and then enter the passage. The children felt that the water was very cold, the shower area in the dressing room smelled, and the pool felt not clean. It took less than five minutes to come up. I stayed in a hotel in the city tonight. The children sighed several times. The pool here was much more comfortable. Breakfast: It's quite rich. Dining in the scenic area is very general, and you can't find what to eat in the sand. The children didn't want to go out, they didn't watch any performances, and the small train didn't do it, so they were relaxed when they stayed in the hotel.

The receptionist at the front desk has a smile and patiently answers every question. I'll invite my friends to come again if I have the chance!

Afternoon tea, to be honest, was surprisingly good. In addition, there are local tea leaves in the room for tasting. Check-out is convenient, there is a service desk in the check-in building, and you can check in directly. This stay, the overall feeling is that this is a unique, thoughtful, service-conscious, more refined hotel with an excellent location. I will bring my family with me next time.

Basically, the service staff of the housekeeping department and the transportation department are very enthusiastic and polite. The service of the catering department is not satisfactory. At about 7:10 on the first day of breakfast, there was no one at the front desk at the entrance of the restaurant, and no one cared which room you were a guest in. On the second night, the buffet started about 30 minutes ago, and the skewers, chicken wings, etc. were all cold, the roast beef was too old, and the black pepper sauce was simply salty. The fire of the hot pot was an alcohol lamp. The soup in the pot never boiled during the whole meal. There were no hot pot seasonings. There was no sesame paste, shacha sauce, etc. There were only vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic paste and other condiments. For breakfast on the last day, the paper cups for ice cream next to the ice cream truck were gone. I asked the waiter at the fruit bar next to it for more, and he said, ”Sorry, there are no more ice cream cups.” I was so angry that I laughed. Who trained this kind of service concept? How many guests are staying in the hotel? It's okay that the hotel is not well prepared, but can't they help the guests find solutions? The ice cream paper cups are used up. Do you have other paper cups? Otherwise, do you have bowls in the kitchen? Just saying that there are no more, it's still meal time. Does it mean that the guests behind don't want to eat? The auntie who collects the plates is also very diligent. She is still sitting. If she sees that your plate is empty, she will collect it. Then you collect the plates, but leave the chopsticks. You have taken away everything. Are you chasing guests away? Table manners need some training. I had to eat without my chopsticks being placed horizontally. Otherwise, it would give people a bad impression.

It is suitable for people who like mountains and wild life and enjoy a slow life. The room is still clean, but the toilet in the room where we live is offensive. The bicycle park is very good, but there is no bicycle suitable for 8 or 9-year-olds. It is best to bring your own, otherwise you must rent a tandem bicycle, which is very difficult to ride.

I made a phone call to ask questions before going there, and then I began to feel the thoughtful service. From booking to departure, the service was great. The whole hotel environment is also good. It was also very quiet to sleep at night. The room has floor heating and the temperature is just right. The room is big enough, the only drawback is that there is no partition or door between the bathroom and the room, which is a bit inconvenient. The breakfast was rich and delicious.

The handmade soap she made herself is exquisite and fragrant, which can be used as a souvenir to give friends. The sister's field is the kitchen, the baking skills are superb, the freshly baked whole wheat bread is studded with raisins and walnuts, crisp and sweet, and at this moment with a cup of freshly ground coffee is the most complete taste symphony. There is no deliberate sense of high-level, the newness of old objects, the use of natural materials, are telling the same thing: a good life does not have to be perfect, but it must be real and accessible.

Came to Yixing to watch the music festival and found accommodation. The room was very clean, the boss was very cute, and gave me coffee before leaving ☺️ I'll see if I have a chance to come again next year!
