Premier Inn York City (Blossom St North)

房間比想象中大很多，需要三點後入住，可以先寄存行李，退房把房卡放前台的房卡盒子裏就可以

位置適中，步行6分鐘就可到達火車站，景點都在20分鐘步程內，非常方便。房間寬敞舒適，可惜只有一個插座供充電用，實不足夠。

We Stayed for a birthday trip. We have stayed once before mostly stay in the south one but this was a little cheaper. The city is undergoing major works which made it a little confusing as with a lot of people around, the sign saying to follow the path around to blossom st was hidden: nonetheless we found it. We stayed in one of the closer family rooms (thank goodness with limited mobility) and everything was perfect. We found the front door entrance ourselves luckily as we were going for breakfast the next morning but nobody told us it was there. Which would have meant a walk from the car park . We followed reception signs via the car park on arrival. It was easier going through the front door. I had to go to the south hotel for some soya milk for my room but he was great about giving me some. Word of advice tho. Sainsburys is just up the road. No matter how much walking you have done or how immobile you are, don't buy water from the bar. £9.40 for 3 small cans of water was ridiculous. A mistake I won't make again. There are machines we didn't realise until later in the north hotel but they are cash only. Breakfast was not up to the standard we have had in the past. Seemed plenty of younger staff on. Our table had no cutlery. Luckily we'd eaten there before as the server didn't ask if we knew where anything was and just left us at the table. Barely anyone around so we had to get our own from another table. The plates meant to be warming were cold. But not washed properly either. Brown sauce on the top of one, previous nights lasagne on the bottom of several. Greasy cheese and all. The lad putting fresh food out drew the short straw as he was the only staff member to tell but when another came several minutes later she told him to sort it out. To be fair he was doing many things it seemed. The place was already busy and this didn't help. There wasn't enough room to que for toast without being in the way of those getting hot breakfasts. Many things ran out and even replenished ran out again quick. Jams etc were getting low but after grabbing a croissant and being very clearly in the way, and not able to stand for ages in the long que with people trying to get toast to go with their breakfast, I don't think I'll bother in busy times again. It's not as well run as it used to be the last time we came a few years ago. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful both check in and out when we left bags. There is a bus stop just up the road from the south hotel. Many of them go into town or to Clifford's tower. But buses 1 and 5 we were told (eventually by a very helpful driver) get you from outside the theatre near the Minster up to blossom street. So if your walking is limited and you've spent all day walking around, they are handy.
