Harmony House Boutique B&B

I recently stayed at Willow Cottage, Harmony House B&B in Stillingfleet, York for four nights while working on a writing project, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The atmosphere—both inside the cottage and in the peaceful village surroundings—was incredibly calming. Being able to open the patio doors wide, breathe in the fresh air, and still enjoy privacy was a rare and refreshing gift. The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with complimentary treats, either homemade or from M&S—such a lovely touch, and I was assured I could have requested more if needed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making for deep, restful sleep each night. Most importantly, the environment allowed me to write with a clear, focused head. I was able to complete an entire manuscript during my stay—something I simply could not have achieved at home. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape, a creative retreat, or just some quiet time to rest and recharge, I can't recommend Willow Cottage highly enough. It’s a hidden gem and a sanctuary for the soul.

My husband and I have just spent 2 nights at Harmony House for our wedding anniversary. The guest house is spectacular, we stayed in Evergreen room which is so cosy and comfortable with a stunning view across the green. The bathroom is lovely, and exceptionally clean. A lovely gesture was the bottles of water in the fridge, and hand-made chocolate fudge! Adele is a brilliant host, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing and so tasty. We used the park and ride service into York, which is only 10 mins away. After 2 busy days it was so nice to return to Harmony House amid the peace and tranquility of the surroundings, and a very restful nights sleep. Thankyou so much, Adele, and we will definitely return when we are next your way!

We had a fantastic two night stay at Harmony House. The B&B was absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated and in located in the peaceful village of Stillingfleet. Our room was immaculately presented with all the amenities we could need for our stay. Adele is really a fantastic hostess. She goes above and beyond for her guests to ensure they have the best stay. I highly recommend her own lavender eggs for breakfast! 10/10, will absolutely be returning and recommending to friends.

Hidden gem What a stunning house! Tasteful and elegant decor throughout with homely features. Adele is the perfect host; attentive yet not overbearing and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and couldn’t be faulted. The room was spotless with plenty of refreshments and little treats left for us to enjoy. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it. Lovely B & B Adele was the perfect host. This quaint B & B is very well presented. We stayed in the Great Burnett room which was beautifully decorated. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay outside of York this is the place for you. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.
