I had a wonderful stay at this charming small hotel, beautifully decorated and conveniently located near Zermatt train station. During my stay, a snowstorm caused a power outage and all train services were suspended, making it impossible to leave the town. Despite these unexpected circumstances, the hotel took excellent care of us. They provided helpful information, allowed us to extend our stay without any additional charges, and showed incredible kindness throughout. The hotel owner was especially warm and accommodating, making a difficult situation much easier for us. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zermatt.

Great location! In front of the station. Only 100 m can walk about 1-2 mins from the station. Very kindly and nice staff and owner. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and large. It feel like home with staff. I recommend you to stay in this hotel. If I come back Zermatt again, I’ll stay this hotel again. I’m in Snow storm disaster in Zermatt on 17th-19th April 2025. Thank you so much for your kindness to my family in this situation.🙏🏻🙃

距離采爾馬特火車站步行三分鐘路程，房間乾淨整潔，酒店工作人員耐心熱情，就早餐稍微單調。

酒店在觀景台登山火車站側，亦在策馬特火車站3分鐘路程，位置冇得頂。在露台便可看到馬特洪峰，睇日出十分方便。早餐十分好吃；酒店客房不多，所以餐廳不大，也不多人，你可以安靜舒服地吃早餐。餐廳即使只有一位服務員，因住客不多，她能細心地招呼您。登山火車站側的商場便有大間的COOP超市，方便買食物；可在露台或房間悠閒享用晚餐（外出晚餐實在很貴）。

Das Hotel Sarazena ist seit über einem Jahrzehnt unsere Winterdestination für 2 Winterurlaube. Nun könnte man sich fragen, weshalb zwei so Weitgereiste immer wieder dorthin zurückkehren? Erstens versteht man es, mit viel Gefühl fürs Detail das Hotel zu erneuern. Alles ist gelungen: das grosse Zimmer mit Blick aufs Matterhorn, die erneuerte Bar, der gemütliche Frühstücksraum mit dem grosszügigen Frühstücksbuffet. Herauszuheben ist die wahnsinnig warmherzige Gastgeberfamilie. Schon beim Eintreten fühlt man sich herzlich Willkommen. Wir als Skifahrer ( und Zermatt ist da Extraklasse, was Pistenangebot samt Panorama zu bieten hat) schätzen die Lage als absolute Spitze ein: Die Gornergratbahn ums Eck, der Bahnhof in 2 Minuten erreichbar, die Busse ebenfalls. Die beliebte und belebte Bahnhofstrasse ist ebenfalls einen Katzensprung entfernt. Eines ist klar: hier im Hotel ist der Gast König und wir schwelgen schon in Vorfreude auf den nächsten Winter im Sarazena. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt dem gesamten Team.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and location was perfect. Highly recommend staying.

Excelente calidad-precio en pleno centro Hotel acogedor, excelente ubicación en pleno centro de Zermatt al lado de la estación de tren, en una calle tranquila, habitaciones amplias y cómodas, buen servicio y limpieza, todo en perfecto estado. Muy recomendable, calidad precio inmejorable

Breakfast was great and I loved that they had hard woods floor throughout. Right next to the train station and very convenient. Helpful staff.

So happy I stayed here. Agnes and team were all very professional and accommodating. Great place to stay. The cleanliness is top notch. And the location is just perfect if you don’t want to walk far from the train station (or pretty much from everywhere else). Happy I stayed here. Definitely recommending it to friends.
