I probably wouldn’t stay here again, the hotel is old and the price for much more modern and luxurious accommodations are similar if not cheaper elsewhere. Great view from the room though even though it was only on the 5th floor.

Hotel is located conveniently at Tsim Sha Tsui area. There’s many eateries nearby. Keep in mind that this hotel shares the same lobby as Empire Hotel, but Empire Prestige is at the other end of the hotel.
Hotel does not provide toothbrush / toothpaste, drinking water etc. There’s a supermarket called ‘Wellcome’ just opposite the street, buy everything you need there and save at least half of your money (comparing buying from 7-11 😉

Karen (Li?) has been exceptionally helpful during our 2 visits. It was our first time in Hong Kong, we don't know Cantonese, we had many questions, and Karen's recommendations for activities (food, shopping) were very good. We love the hotel and we strongly recommend to others. We will surely come again.

All is ok as expected, small room with small bath room+toilet. Location is good. Only feel that they prefer Chinese guests more. Anyhow, it is worth for money, if you want to stay at Tsim Sha Tsui.

Great place, highly recommended. I tried similar small cheap hotels in Kowloon, this is by far the cleanest and friendliest!
The WiFi didn’t work though

Location is convenient. I was a little skeptical of the place at first being it's my first time booking at hostel or homestay. The crowd downstairs was a little overwhelming as they will try to get your attention to book or stay at their place.
The lady who greeted us was all smiles. The first room they assigned us didn't have a window and she was kind enough to let us move to another room with one.

I recently stayed at Kam Mun Guesthouse during my trip to Hong Kong, and it was a fantastic experience! The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and popular attractions. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and made us feel at home throughout our stay.
The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing all the essentials we needed. It was also family-friendly, which was important for us as we traveled with our baby. Despite being in a bustling area, the guesthouse offered a peaceful and comfortable environment.
Overall, Kam Mun Guesthouse is a great choice for travelers looking for affordable yet high-quality accommodations in Hong Kong. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again on our next visit!

I ordered over 500 at noon, but when I checked the app in the evening it showed over 300. We have repeatedly discovered that Ctrip is taking advantage of its old customers. If you choose a hotel twice, the price will be adjusted randomly. You can test it. It is estimated that it is not far from bankruptcy and will explode sooner or later.
This is just a guesthouse with a high rating. Can you guys see if this bed sheet has been changed?

The guy at the front desk was very nice and polite, with a good attitude. He smiled and patiently told us the precautions step by step. This step is much better than a certain hotel. The hygiene is better, very clean, the windows are very soundproof, and I slept very well. The bathroom is a little shabby, but the price is already very good, the cost performance is very high, I will still book this hotel next time.

KKrivI recently stayed at the Rosedale Hotel in Hong Kong for two nights and found it to be a pleasant experience. The rooms are cozy and sufficient for a short stay. The bedding was clean, and the overall ambiance was comfortable.
One of the standout features is its location. It’s approximately a 10 minute walk from the MTR Station, making it easy to navigate the city. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance to the Hong Kong Stadium, which was convenient for attending events.
The area around the hotel is convenient, with two 7-Eleven stores nearby. There are also several restaurants in close proximity, offering a variety of dining options.

MManta1Resort is an inflated term. Pool closed, spa closed, rooms are upstairs but there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags. Small washer and dryer in the sauna room, outdated fitness equipment. Weird 'token' system for using the 'resort' things like washer or sauna.Interesting little game area downstairs, a couple kayaks and bikes to rent. Few real amenities that would make this a ”resort”. It's a decent hotel.
The rooms are clean but the windows don't open so it gets very stuffy, the fridge froze everything and the bathroom is tiny and dated. My view was gross, so I kept the shade down.
When the tide is out there is a beach, it is close to the ferry pier and a very pretty view when the construction is not going. The sun rises right in front of the hotel!
Restaurant has a large menu for dinner, but only one choice for breakfast (set meal or nothing).
What saves this place is the staff! They are wonderful, lovely people!
SSwelamWe really loved our stay at Grand Bay View Hotel — the views were stunning and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our trip. However, the only downside was that the staff felt mostly absent during our stay, which made it a bit hard to get support when needed. Overall, still a great spot if you're looking for a peaceful and scenic escape.
OOsca ChoiOur experience at the hotel was truly wonderful, thanks to its spacious rooms with modern amenities, professional yet courteous service, and prime location near key attractions. With a few adjustments to the breakfast variety, our stay would have been flawless. While the morning meal featured high-quality, flavorful dishes, the selection was somewhat restricted. Expanding the menu to include more diverse options-such as plant- based or gluten-free choices-would better accommodate different dietary needs and preferences. That said, the staff's outstanding hospitality truly stood out. They were warm, welcoming, and proactive, often anticipating our needs, whether arranging transportation or recommending local gems. Their dedication elevated our stay, making it both relaxing and memorable. We'd gladly return and look forward to seeing how the hotel continues to refine its offerings!
GGuest UserLocated at Wan Chai, one of the main living area at island.
Since it was operated by renovation of old house, there are no evaluator at main living building and reception is actually ground floor of building nearby, but they try the best to make them connected by rooftops as public garden and bridge.
They make very effective use for space, as there is a pillar at the middle of single room. anyway I think it is good enough for daily lives and the price.
Recommended, if you do not need too much space with luxurious.
Wish coming here again!
GGuest UserOk hotel if you want something simple better than those cheap stays. But don't expect much.
Overall is good, should improve cleaning (especially the bathroom which is old and hasn't been renovated).
Regarding sound, you can hear people in the corridor and other rooms if they speak loud (like baby crying).
You can hear the street sounds a little, but acceptable.
Check-in and check-out was quick and easy.
Photos show they bad sides, but the main room is very fine.
LLaughingG26I had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and efficient, which made a great first impression. The room was spotless and well-maintained, showing the high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. What stood out most was the staff — they were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their professionalism and hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!
GGuest UserDespite its distance from the center, this hotel makes a really good impression to its guests. Very good service especially the housekeeping department. Very hospitable and serves with a smile unlike the ones in the front desk. Nothing to worry about the transportation cos there's bus to everywhere. You just have to bring extra strengths for walking which makes it a good exercise. You won't starve in the hotel aswell cos they have shops nearby which makes it very convenient. Good stay I must say. Would recco 100%.
YYingnamI rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel I need to share this experience.
I was really looking forward to this trip and paid over 5,000 baht for my stay, expecting decent service and a smooth check-in — especially on the first day. Unfortunately, everything started going wrong from the beginning.
At check-in, I was told my room was on the 11th floor, but it was actually on the 19th. I don’t understand why I was given the wrong information.
Later, I tried to charge my phone using an adapter I brought from Thailand, but it didn’t work properly — possibly due to low voltage. I charged for almost 2 hours and the battery still didn’t go up. I asked the front desk if I could charge my phone there just for a few minutes while waiting for my friend to bring another adapter, but they refused and told me to buy a new one from the vending machine, which was quite expensive. I felt that was very unfair because I had my own equipment.
I even brought my adapter down to show them and asked if they could check the electricity in my room. A housekeeper came twice and said the power was working, but still, my phone didn’t charge. I was exhausted from explaining everything again and again. The receptionist asked if I wanted to change rooms, but I was already too tired. All I wanted was to charge my phone. Finally, a kind housekeeper lent me her personal adapter — and I could finally charge my phone.
By then, it was already late. I hadn’t eaten and most of the shops nearby were closed. What was supposed to be a relaxing first day turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience
For the 5,000+ baht I paid, I honestly don’t think it was worth it. I expected better service from the start.
