Wonderful experience at Wanda Vista Istanbul! The hotel is beautifully designed with elegant interiors, spacious rooms, and top-notch amenities. The staff were attentive and made our stay very comfortable. A perfect blend of luxury and hospitality—would definitely return!
I loved my time there. The hotel staff are very flexible and helpful. I highly recommend for both short and long term staying as it has everything you would expect and need from this place.
I had an amazing stay at Edition Old City Hotel in Istanbul! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The hotel itself has a great ambiance, blending modern comfort with the charm of the old city.
The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic—so many delicious options to choose from, both local and international. It was the perfect way to start each day.
One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service. The reception staff all spoke English, making communication effortless. A special thanks to Sinan, who generously upgraded us to a balcony-view room facing the city—completely on the house! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our experience even more memorable.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay. The combination of excellent service, great atmosphere, and delicious food makes this hotel a top choice for anyone visiting Istanbul. Highly recommend!

My stay at The Divan Istanbul left me with mixed feelings. While the hotel markets itself as a five-star establishment, my experience suggested it might be better aligned with four-star standards. The service, which is a critical aspect of any top-tier hotel experience, unfortunately fell short of expectations.
Upon arrival, I encountered a passive-aggressive attitude from the reception staff that was off-putting. Instead of the warm welcome one would expect, the receptionists seemed more interested in talking over guests than engaging with them. This tone created an uncomfortable atmosphere that lingered throughout my stay. Additionally, the staff's grasp of English varied significantly, leading to frequent misunderstandings when addressing simple requests. This lack of clear communication is not what one hopes for at a hotel that purports to offer five-star service.
These service issues overshadowed any of the hotel’s potential strengths. A true five-star experience is defined by top-notch service that complements the hotel's physical attributes, and in this case, it was lacking. While the hotel may offer nice amenities and a polished appearance, without exceptional service to match, it cannot truly claim to be a five-star venue.
In conclusion, while The Divan Istanbul has the framework of a high-end hotel, its service shortcomings prevent it from fully realizing that potential. For those looking for a reliable four-star experience in Istanbul, it may fit the bill, but if exemplary service is a priority for your stay, it may be wise to consider other options.

The rooms are big and clean, the open buffet is perfect, everything is there, the staff is very attentive, I recommend it to everyone, especially families, it is very close to Taksim, it is a minute away, it is a very reliable and clean hotel in a place like Taksim, there are also taxi services to the airport and it is at a very affordable price.

We used this place as a stopover in between two Istanbul airports. The location is super convenient, near the metro and boats.
Room was qute spacious and warm. There was a kettle and water.
Two minor things: the electric cord of the hairdrier looked very unsafe. I was afraid to get an electric shock. And in the evening there was a strong food smell from the outside - kitchen probably.
But otherwise, a nice hotel, we will be back.

At the lobby they were very friendly and hospitable, my biggest annoyance was the breakfast and the location of the breakfast, roller blinds that were constantly fluttering due to the wind and so you get the sun in and get very warm, staff not friendly, comes no smile or welcome, do not look fit, and the breakfast and hygiene were not optimal, we often have to wait for our cutlery and plates until it has been washed before you can start your breakfast and the cutlery and plates always get soaking wet so get your paper napkins to dry it yourself. Once I said to the waitress if she can arrange a plate for me, Mrs. Said that the woman who does the dishes is not there yet and she just stood there with another colleague and then I said would you like to wash a few plates for us so that we can go eat? She then said that she didn't come to work to do the dishes. Another guesthouse started washing its own plate, which I don't think is nice
Homelike Hotel – A Cozy Gem in Istanbul
I had a great stay at Homelike Hotel in Istanbul. The location was perfect—just a 5-minute walk to metro and bus stops, and only 20 minutes on foot from Taksim Square. The area is full of cozy Turkish cafés, giving it a lovely local vibe.
My room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and modern. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. While there were a few minor issues at first, everything was quickly sorted out thanks to their excellent service. A special thanks to Adam, who kindly helped me print some important travel documents.
Breakfast was decent, with some variation each day to keep things interesting. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended if you're looking for a cozy, budget-friendly stay with great access to the city. A truly nice hotel that gives you great value for money. You truly get the bang for your buck!

The price does not match the setting. It is just a small hotel in China that costs 100 yuan. The facilities are very simple and the soundproofing is poor. I booked more than 300 yuan in advance. At that time, the room rate for the next day was nearly 600 yuan, which was outrageous. So I stayed for one night and moved to Taksim. This hotel is close to the church. The loud speaker starts singing scriptures at 5.25 in the morning. Even earplugs can't stop it. You can store your luggage after checking out. The breakfast variety is OK. The restaurant staff is friendly. (I strongly recommend this newly opened homestay in Taksim. It is clean, tidy, good service, and cheap)

It's not a hotel, it's a small B&B
There's no elevator, the owner will help with the luggage
Some facilities are old
Poor sound insulation, very noisy, you can hear people talking on the road, there are motorcycles in the middle of the night and early morning
It's recommended to check the reviews on Google map
The photos on Ctrip are too distorted
Oh, the water was cut off for a day and I couldn't take a shower
Can't watch TV

AAnastasiospapadakisWe truly loved every bit of demiray hotel from the aesthetic of the reception , the rooms , the breakfast , the rooftop view everything if I were you and I was looking for a perfect hotel in istanbul I would not search anymore let me be more specific:
We were greeted by the beautiful Ezgi at the reception with a smile and friendly attitude that made us feel like we were visiting friends and family , since i also work in the same field this is what we strive for a perfect check in , she politely gave us complimentary tea and turkish coffee and handed us the keys to the room always eager to help us with any information after explaining the times of breakfast and the hotels included free access areas ( swimming pool, hammam , turkish bath , sauna ) , Hasan the bellboy then took our stuff explaining in detail what is included in the room water and the amenities were complimentary tap water is not safe to drink in istanbul but all the bellboys always brought us water anytime we needed and with a smile .
In the first night we stayed in the hotel we had a issue with the shower phone it was fixed but It broke again the next day , Mert who was at the night shift at the time gave us a complimentary upgrade and also he told us that if possible the change could happen on his shift and not the other shift , I write this down because since I work on this field i find Mert to be a very good , hardworking professional and excellent colleague since he solved a issue so quick in order to not bother the next shift , truly a excellent receptionist and he has my respect . On the third day of our stay we did a huge walk from taksim to the Hotel but we didn't eat anything we arrived back at the hotel and we wanted to order food , Emroh when I told him my request which as a front office manager myself i know it is not a part of the receptionist duties especially at night , immediately spoke with his colleague and they ordered us a pizza which was amazing we left the cash and went to the room , it shows Emroh can go above and beyond for demiray hotel customers and deserves a big applause . On the last day I requested a late check out to Emroh which was accepted and it made us very happy since we could come back take a shower and leave , the hotel has a luggage room which was very convenient .
As for the breakfast it was Huge with great cold and warm options which change everyday , Cansu and the rest of the staff always assisted us with a smile and made our day from the beginning ! I have to applaud the housekeeping team esma and selma which cleaned the room to perfection and made us a beautiful design see picture bellow and since we know housekeeping is difficult for everyone we tried our best to keep the room as clean as possible .
Our room was beautiful with a bathtub and it had an beautiful design and a very comfortable big sized bed . The rooftop has a 360 view of the bosphorus with view of the Hagia Sophia Galata and all the other mosques trully amazing ( Photos bellow ) .
One of the most important things to note which impressed us is that Ugur the manager was always on duty ready to help, he spoke perfect English and he also looked the part with a stunning suit and a beautiful red patterned tie , it is very important for the hotel to have a nice team and this is what the manager does the best , as a front office manager myself I know Ugur has made an amazing team consisting of great all rounded receptionists that all in their unique ways made our stay memorable and amazing and deserves a big applause for his work .
We truly loved everything and everyone at the Demiray Hotel and we cannot wait to be back soon .
Sending lots of love from Greece ❤️

GGuest UserThis hotel is very good. It also has airport pick-up service and the sanitation is very good. I originally booked the hotel for two days. After I checked in, I felt it was so good that I extended it for a few more nights.
GGuest UserGood location, really is old city there near every thing, good stuff and helpful, speak English

DdoudiWe enjoyed staying in G tower with all the facilities that made our holiday great! The staff were helpful and friendly especially Ms Neda. The location is also good for people who doesn't to be in a crowded and noisy area, the hotel was very clean and calm. We'll absolutely come back again!
CCarrie-AnneThe experienced staff were both Friendly and helpful! As I was Traveling late night early morning, I called the hotel for some assistance with a taxi service. They front desk was happy to talk to the driver and even helped me confirm pricing. As a single woman traveling I am wanting to take precautions for my safety. The room was authentic and had a comfortable warmth! The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The location is close to the touristy spots with easy access to public transportation! Travelers be prepared, so many things to see and do-be prepared. I enjoyed the exciting hustle and bustle and with help I found my way on the public ferry to check out the other side for a local experience. I truly enjoyed my stay, Thank you Empire Palace
PPatrick NaturelThe location near Taxim, bus, metro, restaurants ... is pleasant.
The apartments are clear, but the kitchen does not want ... The household is not properly performed.
Do not hesitate to visit several rooms before choosing.
The guests are very friendly.
Ccathywu0323You can take photos on the rooftop of the room. The only problem is that the streets in Turkey are too hilly and it is very difficult to push the luggage even for a short distance.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located on the tram route, so I could hear the tram noise, but it wasn't loud enough to be bothersome. The sink in the bathroom was small, so it was a little inconvenient to wash up. However, the staff at the desk were friendly and the room was clean, which was nice. There were many reviews saying that the breakfast was varied and delicious, so I really wanted to eat it, but I couldn't eat it because of my schedule, which was a shame. I recommend this hotel as a place I'd like to visit again next time I travel to Istanbul👍👍
