This place is so unique and wonderful. I pay tribute to the natural beauty here. This is a black sand beach with large chunks of ice that have floated from the melting Jökulsárlón glacier. When these icebergs are broken into pieces by the waves, it becomes so breathtaking that you can't take your eyes off it. It's called Diamond Beach because when sunlight and light hit these ice chunks, they sparkle like diamonds. This place is a tourist destination, but it's very quiet. I got there around mid-morning to catch the light glistening off the icebergs, which float serenely in the deep blue water. There’s no entrance fee, so you can simply drive up, park, and explore. Stunning road trip in April across the southern regions of Iceland. From Reykjiavik to Hofn and then back. We even managed to spot the Aurora. This is a must do trip for any road trip lovers. Spending New Year's in Iceland Exploring glacier caves, witnessing the Northern Lights, riding Icelandic horses, and enjoying New Year's fireworks—this trip was filled with nature and left me completely satisfied. I hesitated for a moment, thinking winter might be too cold, but it was absolutely worth it! There are so many photos I couldn't share here, so I highly recommend taking a tour to fully experience Iceland's stunning nature! The tours I joined were: - A 2-night, 3-day East Coast tour - A 1-night, 2-day Snæfellsnes Peninsula tour Both were incredibly enjoyable! Seeing the Northern Lights depends on luck, but I managed to see them on about half of the nights during my stay—three nights in total! Next time, I want to experience Iceland in the height of summer when the days are long!
