Harder Kulm is 1,322 m above sea level and is known as the Top of Interlaken. This is one of the easiest and fastest viewpoints in Switzerland to climb up to. The most convenient way to get up there is to take the cable car. When you reach the top, you will see the beautiful view of the lakes Brienz and Thun, as well as the Jungfrau and Eiger peaks in front of you. There is also a restaurant up there. There are live folklore shows performing traditional Swiss music from May to October. You can check online for their performance time. We had lunch at the mountaintop restaurant with the peaks all around us—it was peaceful and surreal. We had no intention to go here but somehow we ended up going up here to see the views of the Swiss Alps. This was in Interlaken, so we could see Jungfrau! We took a cogwheel railway up which was an interesting experience. 🏖️Ambiance/Facilities: Restaurant: There was one restaurant up there. Washroom: I think the washroom was inside the restaurant. It wasn't such a big place up there but it was a nice experience to view the beautiful mountains and the lovely town of Interlaken. It really depends on if this is something that will interest you! But it is a famous spot where you must take at least one photo. There is a children's play area at the top and you can also take a light walk. Not many people hike Harder Coolum I guess it is because it is not easy to walk while looking at the scenery. It felt like walking into the mountains.

It ran more frequently than every 30 minutes, perhaps because there were so many people.
