Our group of six immediately agreed to charter together, and after some bargaining, we set off happily at a fair price! 🥵Under Egypt's summer sun, even with AC, desert highway heat waves were palpable. Outside the temple at 42°C, the scorch was unbearable; inside offered shade but stifling humidity—a true dilemma! 🔥On our return, the driver suddenly turned off the AC, jolting everyone awake as if thrown into an oven. Opening windows brought choking desert winds; keeping them closed turned the van into a sauna with steam-like breath. Just as we prepared to accuse him of "highway robbery," the car urgently swerved into a gas station—turns out we were nearly out of fuel! We forgave our "African sauna" experience, grateful we didn't get stranded in the desert!
