Cheonan Gongsuri Cathedral and Bread Kiln Village

Cheonan is a place I’ve only passed through on the highway, but this was my first time traveling there. Previously, I only knew Cheonan for its Samgeori (Three-Way Intersection) and walnut cookies, but I discovered Gongsuri Cathedral and Bread Kiln Village. Driving along the cherry blossom road, I parked my car and walked up the hill to the cathedral. The old cathedral, built long ago, was serene and beautiful. Bread Kiln Village, on the other hand, had cafes, bakeries, and a kiln where bread is baked. The aging room, which looked like a dwarf’s house, was adorable, and the idea of baking bread in a kiln was fascinating. It was a wonderful time to learn more about Cheonan, a place I didn’t know much about before.
