#Travel Guide While I was trying everything I could do with Kitty in Japan, Kitty's hometown, I visited Hello Kitty Apple House, which opened during Corona. Hello Kitty Smile opened in 2018, so I visited first. I experienced Kitty Afternoon Tea there. Hello Kitty Apple House and Hello Kitty Showbox are located next to each other about 2.5 kilometers away from Hello Kitty Smile. All three are facilities in Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture. Hello Kitty Smile consists of a Kitty shop, Kitty Museum, and restaurant. Hello Kitty Apple House serves as an observation deck. Hello Kitty Showbox consists of a theater where you can eat or have dessert while watching a show, and a Kitty shop. Smile admission fee and Apple House & Showbox admission fee are separate. Dining or dessert while watching a show at the restaurant is available by advance reservation. There are express buses from Kobe Sannomiya to the nearest bus stop about 8 times a day. Shuttle buses run between each facility. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the bus stop. Hello Kitty Smile is right next to the sea, and Apple & Showbox is located in the middle of rice fields. The surrounding scenery is no different from our rural village. Awaji Island is well-developed as a resort area and is popular as the Hawaii of Kobe citizens. There are hot springs, leisure, resorts, museums, and other tourist attractions scattered all over the island. After spending one night at Sumoto Onsen and one night at Ando Tadao Hotel, I went around here and there and visited Hello Kitty Showbox for lunch time. Admission, vegan lunch course, Hello Kitty show time, 30-second conversation with Kitty after the show, and even a commemorative photo are included. A conversation with Kitty wearing a puppet mask?.? For Kitty fans, this is a beautiful and happy moment in itself. If you follow them on Instagram and clear the mission, you will get a chance to gacha once. You will receive a limited edition clear file for participating merchants. If you take the Apple House elevator, you can take as many selfies as you want in the Kitty House wrapped in Kitty. If you go up to the rooftop observatory, you will see the Kitty roof covering the show box. You can see Akashi City and the sea in the distance, giving you a great view.
