Lunch at Kintamani: Came for the Food, Stayed for the Volcano Drama 🌋

Booked a lunch spot with “a nice view” — didn’t realize I’d be dining face-to-face with an actual volcano. There I was, eating fried rice like a queen, while Mount Batur just sat there in the background like, “Yup, I’ve erupted before. You’re welcome for the vibes.” The breeze? Chef’s kiss. The food? Spicy enough to make me question all my life choices. The view? So good I forgot to Instagram my meal — almost. Also, tried to take a cute selfie but the wind decided to turn my hair into a Balinese bird’s nest. Still posted it Note to self: If you eat buffet style here, pace yourself. Or end up rolling downhill straight into Lake Batur.
