Very impressed by the Summer Palace

The Summer Palace was built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. It is renowned for its landscaping techniques that seamlessly blend artificial structures with natural scenery, representing the pinnacle of Chinese garden art. The Summer Palace is centered around Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, with Kunming Lake occupying three-quarters of the total area. In addition to the lake and hills, there are palace areas and agricultural-themed scenic spots. When I arrived at Kunming Lake, I thought I was looking at the ocean, but it turned out to be just a lake. However, it is incredibly vast, and I was truly amazed by its size! Moreover, visitors can enjoy boating on the lake, which feels very relaxing.
