Berchtesgaden, Austria

A quiet mountain town in the Alps, Berchtesgaden was a jewel-like town in Germany, bordering the Austrian border. It was less than an hour away from Salzburg by train and bus, making it a perfect day trip destination. As soon as we left the city and entered the mountains, we were greeted by clean air and green nature. The start of our trip was Lake Königssee. This lake is famous for being the cleanest lake in Germany, and the cliffs and forests on the emerald waters formed a picture. The ocarina performance and echoes heard while crossing the lake on an electric boat added to the mystical atmosphere, and the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomew on the lakeside was quietly situated like a scene from medieval Europe. #HawaiiAirFlightEvent
