Life advice! You must visit this place before leaving Chengdu!

After a full year in Chengdu, I finally visited the Hakka Tulou in Luodai Ancient Town, the same one featured in *Big Fish & Begonia*. I didn't realize this was a thousand-year-old town! 🧐 Strolling along the quaint streets, I saw many young ladies adorned with beautiful hairpins. I sampled local snacks and enjoyed a cup of covered bowl tea by the lake. It was a truly delightful experience. - 📍Location: Luodai Ancient Town (Longquanyi, Chengdu) 🎫Tickets: Free🆓 🚇Transportation: Subway Line 4️⃣ - West River Station, Exit B, then a 15min taxi ride - 🗺️Tour Route: Luodai Ancient Town ➠ Five Phoenix Tower ➠ Hakka Tulou - 📸Travel Guide: ✔️Luodai Ancient Town: Sample local snacks, try the traditional hairpin styling, and experience the local customs. - ✔️Hakka Tulou: Here you can take photos of the Hakka earthen building, just like the one in *Big Fish & Begonia*. It has four floors. The first floor houses a souvenir shop, the second floor is a Hakka culture exhibition hall, the third floor is a Hakka family tradition hall, and the fourth floor is the Western Literature Restoration Center, which is currently closed to the public. - ✔️Five Phoenix Tower: Also known as Fengyi Pavilion, this three-story building is a typical palace-style gate tower. Surrounded by a pond, this retro building is a landmark of Luodai Ancient Town.
