Walking Through the Poet's Garden in Early Spring

In February, the Du Fu Thatched Cottage in Chengdu exuded the essence of early spring. Flowers were blooming here and there, making it feel as though spring had arrived early. The weather was warmer than expected, to the point where heavy outerwear felt unnecessary. Although there were quite a few visitors, the atmosphere was far from bustling; instead, people quietly strolled around, enjoying the scenery, which left a lasting impression. As you slowly walk through the bamboo groves and traditional houses, you can almost imagine the ambiance of the time when Du Fu lived there. Each stone inscription and pavilion seemed to hold its own story, naturally slowing your pace. The garden within the cottage was also well-maintained, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely walk and rest. It was particularly delightful to find such a serene and tidy space in the heart of Chengdu. This is a place I would recommend to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some quiet, contemplative time.
