How to spend 3 amazing days in Mingshi Village, Daxin.

Day 1: We flew from Shanghai to Nanning and arrived early in the morning, we then got a Didi to the Mingshi village, it took about 2 and a half hours. we then arrived at our hotel and were able to check in early. We spent the rest of the day enjoying their wonderful rooftop pool before heading into the village for some dinner. Day 2: Day two was our trip to the Detian Waterfall which was the main reason for our visit. We got a Didi and it took about 40 minutes to the ticket office, we bought our tickets and then got onto the shuttle bus to take us to the entrance of the waterfall. It was even more beautiful than we thought and we spent about 4 hours there taking in all the beauty and enjoying some Vietnamese foods. We then got a Didi back and went out for dinner again that evening, there are many options for food around the hotel Day 3: We spent our last day enjoying the pool once more before heading to the Mingshi Scenic area and exploring some of the other hotels in the area, there are many gorgeous hotels around and breathtaking views everywhere you go. [Must-Visit Attractions] 1. Attraction Name - Detian Waterfall. The most incredible scenery with the stunning waterfall, you can take a bamboo raft right up to the waterfall and you can see Vietnam. You can also try some lovely Vietnamese foods and coffee 2. Attraction Name - Mingshi Scenic Area. The whole Mingshi village is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and nature. [Must-Try Food] 1. Banh Mi, Pho and Vietnamese coffee at the Detian waterfall 2. There are several restaurants around Mingshi village that sold Passion fruit pork ribs and they were incredible. The photo spots are unlimited, everywhere you look at the waterfall makes for stunning photos, there are also specific photo spots such as a swing in front of the waterfall. the Bamboo boat also makes for wonderful photo opportunities. [Tips] There are hotels closer to the waterfall but Mingshi Village is wonderful and has lots of other scenic areas and restaurants to visit on the other days of your trip. be prepared to spend about 600 RMB on a Didi to and from the airport as it is quite some distance. it is possible to get several different trains and buses for cheaper to get there but we opted for the easier option. The Bamboo Raft at The waterfall is an upsell of around 60 RMB per person but it is definitely worth it.
