I made stops in Lucerne, Lausanne, and the stunning Lavaux region, where I stayed in Grandvaux for a few days (highly recommended for vineyard views and peaceful walks). The final leg into Geneva offered sweeping views over Lake Geneva, with the Alps rising in the background — an unforgettable arrival. Geneva itself was lively and elegant, with lakeside cafés, cultural spots, and a perfect end to a slow-travel adventure.
