InterContinental's Hangzhou Minghao voco Hotel's Deluxe Room review The hotel is located in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, opened in 2019, a stone's throw away from the Qiantang River, with Jianghan Road subway station right downstairs, and Binjiang Longhu Tianjie across the street, making transportation and shopping convenient. The lobby is designed in a modern Chinese style, with black, white, and peacock blue forming the main tone of the hotel, with symmetry and splendor as the keywords. The room is a Deluxe Room, the front desk is skilled, and the service staff are proactive in greeting guests. The room is roughly 60 square meters, with a round beveled ceiling, warm lighting, a separate cloakroom, and a dressing mirror. The room's automation system is well done, with a bathtub that offers a view of the street, and the color scheme is still black, white, and peacock blue. The shower comes from the Hansgrohe Croma series, the water pressure is not very good, and the overhead shower in my room was also not working well, which was disappointing. The bathtub is from BSP, the toilet from Duravit (non-sensing), amenities from Elemis, hairdryer from Aolga, and the phone has Bluetooth capability, the sound quality was quite good when tested. The breakfast is superb, with few pre-made dishes, mostly made to order, with a wide variety, and the pies are delicious; the freshly squeezed juice is thick and not watered down, you really should try their breakfast. The swimming pool is being upgraded, and the gym has already started trial operation. Overall, it feels like a small but exquisite quasi-five-star boutique hotel, but the lobby design, room design, and dining services are much higher than some standard five-stars, probably on par with Hangzhou Grand Hyatt, but with better value for money. Choosing this hotel for around a thousand yuan in Hangzhou won't disappoint
