We got off the bus at West Lake Park and walked 200-300 meters to a pier. There were packages for a lake cruise and going to the island. I chose the package for 💰70CNY, and boarded the boat at Kinmen Pier to Xiaoyingzhou in the middle. On the way to the island on the boat, I sat by the window and listened to the introduction. At that time, I happened to see a mother duck with a group of ducklings out foraging. We stayed until Xiaoyingzhou closed at 16:00 and were reluctant to leave. It was a great place to daydream and relax, feeling the lake breeze, looking at the natural scenery and small animals. The whole world seemed to slow down. The West Lake has different scenery in the evening and night, but it starts to feel a bit cool in the evening, so it is recommended to bring a thin shirt or scarf. There will be mosquitoes in summer, so it is recommended to bring mosquito repellent and water. In the evening, there will be people singing live in West Lake Park.
